staff was attentive to the point that they remember your name.
room issues were promptly settled.
choose ocean view rooms at level 3. But bear with the food smell from the kitchen upstairs. Hotel could do better with the ventilation of the kitchen.
Other than that, the breakfast spread is impressive!

Short and sweet, chillaxed kinda getaway.

Our stay was very pleasant. We had asked for high floor but was given a lower floor. Staff were accommodating to adhere to our request. Spacious room with super view of the ocean. But the shower head were wobbly and jacuzzi taps were old and rusty. Not sure if there were any construction going on but it was noisy while we're in the room in the afternoon. Spa was so so, wish the spa centre was facing the ocean.

location: hotel is just in front of the beach, w/ its own daybeds & parasols & security guard/ staff guarding your belongings while you surf/ swim at the sea!! it's about 15/20mins walk to the main street (shopping)but it's a breeze if you rent a bike.
design: lobby is so-so, had expected it to be grander but the suites are fantastic. the main pool facing sea is small but intimate, however just in front of the diners of the restaurant.
cleanliness/ resting: very clean & very good sleep (large bed)
Restaurant Tip:
do book for dinner at Sardine, a restaurant serving fresh seafood & lovely cocktails, in front of a small paddi field,
best to reach around 630pm.

I love the resort for the wonderful service. Food was good. The gym quite small but functional. Sadly the suites that have pool access barely saw much sun as such the pool was quiet. The private jacuzzi and big soaker tub made the suite a wonderful place to relax. I would definitely suggest staying here if you are looking for something peaceful.
Restaurant Tip:
Definitely go to SoS for the drinks - food menu was limited but food was good. I would suggest La Lucciola for a wonderful sunset and italian meal. Made Warung is typical tourist Indonesian food that is quite good. Bodyworks spa is also quite reasonable.

Good location on the Beach

The suite was enormous! We even had a jacuzzi in the patio. I loved the room. The food is fine. The common areas are stark....real basic. The location on the beach is good, however to get a chair on the beach, you need to pay a local...huh?
Service was good. They really try to satisfy you.

We stayed in one of the Ocean suite rooms on the second floor. The room was the best hotel room I have ever stayed in. It has a massive and very comfortable bed. Plasma tv mounted on the wall connected to a Bose sound system that you can plug you ipod into. They had a lovely outdoor jacuzzi built into the balcony which was lovely overlooking the sunsets. The room was decorated perfectly and the bathroom was huge with a large 2 person tub and the shower had a rainmaker shower head. There was also a coffee machine inside the room.
