Disappointing

We were very disappointed with Anginsepoi. We got lost on arrival as the hotel was not sign posted and when we called the staff, they couldn't even explain how to get there.
We were the only guests on arrival but had no manager to greet us. Athenrooms were full of Mosquitos and very smelly. My air conditioner chose not to work at night and both bathroom basins were blocked. When tired to find a security guard or staff at 9pm at night I could not find any. It seemed we had been left alone.
Although this hotel states they have room service, we were told on arrival that you must order food one day in advance.
This hotel was completely overpriced and poorly run and managed.

Take a day trip up into the hills for stunning scenery and cooler air.

Magnificent hotel

i have already posted a lengthy review of this outstanding property so this will just be a short review. the hotel location in canngu is excellent and we were able to walk to many places. hiring a cab for a few hours at a time is very reasonable and a great way to see many of the sites nearby. there are a lot of shops close by, both high end and ordinary, so any needs/wants can be accommodated. the staff at anginsepoi are amazing and we really miss everyone, so a big hello and a thank you to wyan, major, michael and all the rest of the staff! the only negative for this hotel is that you cannot get food service on the premises most of the time as they have to send out for food. saying that, the breakfasts are wonderful and are made right on the premises.

Faboulous in every way

As we prepare to depart today from our amazing villa, we thank Mayor, Wyan, Michael and all the staff for tending to us so kindly and with such care and class. You have helped to ensure we`ve had a wonderful time in Bali for our son`s wedding. Anginsepoi Villas are the most beautiful, peaceful and scenic place to stay in Canggu, Bali. We have been to other villas that are very highly rated and none can hold a candle to this place. If you`re planning to travel to Bali, this is your home away from home. It is so comfortable and welcoming and is an easy walk to Echo Beach and all the amazing surfing and eateries. From the beautiful pool area we have had the pleasure of watching surfers play with the waves while having breakfast, which I`ll add are excellent. A major plus of the villas is that they are handicap friendly in the most wonderful ways. Thank you Anginsepoi for all you`ve done for us. We`ll miss all of you.
Shopping Tip:
The villa management can arrange a taxi for you to shop or do whatever you wish. We hired the same taxi driver on 3 different occasions and he was wonderful. He took us to shops we`d never know of and some we wanted to go to. He waited for us, and did the same for almost 4 hours one night while we were eating. The price is very reasonable for the service and we gave him about $20.00 US each time. Such a deal!

The location was just a few minute walk to a great beach. The size of rooms was ideal. It was v quiet and secluded. Unfortunately the cleanliness and level of service were both a bit spotty.

the service was excellent we really enjoyed our stay here, i would recommend it to anyone. we had the whole place to ourselves and had the best time. the rooms were great, the pool was beautiful, breakfast was yum, fresh vegie juice and copie everyday. (ask the boys to make you a banana pancake)

Beautiful room and surroundings with lovely staff. Location hard to find but only a 5 min walk to Echo Beach restaurants. Breakfast view to surf beach at front of hotel. Only 4-5 room so very quiet, we were only guests staying at the time. Canggu great for surfin, possibly horseriding but not much else to do.
In house massage very good but expensive compared to what you get in Legian/Seminyak. Best to ovoid the restaurant and use nearby Echo Beach (some can deliver to the hotel if you don't want to leave(.

Wow, we thought we died and went to heaven. Stunning motel and the staff were just as beautiful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Right in heart of Ubud.
Restaurant Tip:
Jazz Cafe is a must.

Great Location - very peaceful.
Right on the beach and not surrounded by other hotels.

A beautifully designed hotel amongst a well maintained lovely garden. Our bedroom and bathroom were large with 2 showers, one being a large outdoor shower. Our villa overlooked both the river and the sea. It was great to sit around the beautiful pool sipping on my pinocolada watching the surfers.
We ate at Echo Beach as the menu was limited and expensive and enjoyed treking across the paddock with our torch dodging the tethered cows.
We also enjoyed our walks inland through the villages and along the beach to the fishing villages.
The staff were very obliging and helped make our stay an enjoyable one.
If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Seminyak & Legion I suggest you stay at Anginsepoi Villa I am sure you will enjoy it as we did.

Air-con and mini bar fridge blew fuse two nights but was fixed efficiently but other than that everything was great. On the beach, great villas, great service and great food.
