IMPORTANT :
Rooms rehabilitation
Starting May 20th, the Ayodya Resort Bali will embark on a stage by stage program of the final phase of the resort’s renovation. Phase one and two are expected to be complete by July 31st, and then work will resume from September 23rd, till completion of the project by December 23rd.
This is NOT a renovation program with hacking, sawing, drilling, jack hammering or worse. Instead it is a soft-goods redo where 90% of the work will take place in furniture and fabric workshops throughout Bali. There will be minimal workman traffic, and the lights on the rooms balconies will remain on at nights to ensure no compromise to the resorts vacation atmosphere.
Validity: Now until 23 December 2009

Hotel atmosphere , thema, and decoration was simply fantastic. A huge laguna with fishes and giant water lizards and tropical birds were entertaining. Specially to feed them during the meals times. The mini golf with temple simulations was wonderful. The Balinease theater was very interesting as a structure. Next to Golf club.
Breakfast quality . Staff had very poor command of english specially at the reception. Reception staff was very poorlu trained. They even did not know what was included in my package.
The first stay in Ayodya was an enjoyable experience. There are many interesting and entertaining feature of the complex. We walked to the Golf club. Every night thee was live music at the bar. We were not satisfied with the food. In fact I got sick from the food. The quantity was there but not the quality. The mini golf was simply remarkable. I was very disappointed with the lack of competence of the reception staff.
Travel tip : Souveniers are expensive in hotel stores recommend kuta or nearby 'Bali Collection' shopping.

Feels like a palace
Lots of space
Friendly staff
Rooms are dated
Expensive food and drink for Bali
I really enjoyed my stay at the Ayodya, the staff were very helpful and were prepared to assist you in any way. The hotel is located about 20-25 minutes from the airport and costs 95K. It takes approximately 30 minutes to get into Kuta and costs between 60-80K. The security in Nusa Dua has been increased and it feels very safe and secure. This is an impressive hotel and I would highly recommend people to stay here.
Hotel Feature Tip : Be quick to get a towel down on a sun bed near the beach in the morning otherwise it will be close to impossible to get one later in the day.

The architecture and decor of the hotel is beautiful. The grounds are a delight to walk around in. The pool is big, has plenty of room for everyone! There's a great 24 hour restaurant-Waterfalls. The breakfast buffet is excellent with local and other fresh fruits as the highlight. Also you can get made to order omelets. Variety of juices (guava, mango, etc.), fresh cheese and meats. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I wasn't sure how to eat a local fruit and I simply asked-the waiter was so nice! The beach is right there and there are lots of umbrellas and very comfortable lounge chairs available for the guests. The staff will come around and ask very politely if you want a drink or any food. They will not pester you in any way-just simply being polite. The resort is very quiet and if you wanted you'd never have to leave. The restaurants are all reasonably priced and the food selection is wide and good. The tuna at the Lagoona is delicious. The rooms are big and clean, and each room has a little terrace to relax on.
I would recommend this place for families, honeymooners, couples, etc. It's great for kids as they have an on-site "camp" and also a large kiddie pool. The hotel provides almost any service you may need-there's even a clinic if you need! It's also a fun place for a group of friends to go as the rooms are large, the pool is huge, and the beach is RIGHT there. If you want to go partying a whole lot though this is not the place for you.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hire a driver and car for a day or more-the cost is around 40-60usd for the whole day. It's very convenient and the drivers are very nice. It's a good way to see Bali since it's so big and there's so much to see. Definitely go to teh cliff temple and Tanah Lot. Also, have dinner on Jimbaran beach-it's beautiful and the food is delicious!
