Great location, great service
This hotel sits right on the beach in the heart of Nusa Dua. It is close to all the conference facilities and easy access to the airport. The staff are friendly, competent and helpful.
8.7
With 500 rooms, the hotel is much larger than my ideal, but it has character and very friendly staff that makes it feel more boutique-like than most hotels of this size. I was there during the huge ASEAN conferences, and the President of Indonesia with all his ministers was also staying there. It could have created total chaos, but somehow the hotel managed to remain an oasis of calm despite all the comings and goings of dignitaries.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Get out of Nusa Dua to see the real Bali. Nusa Dua is a lovley resort area, but it is very important to go to other parts of Bali to get a sense of how special the island is.

Fantastic Resort but staff not so friendly
6
Amazing resort with amazing facilities. Very overpriced and staff not as friendly. Staff at reception somewhat rude, and when we requested to print off 1 page at reception for our new flight itinerary, we were told to go to the business room, where we needed to pay $2 Australian and 15 minutes worth of internet time to print it off. We also asked reception to make a call on our behalf to Bali Collection to change the flight number on our duty free purchase and the man at reception simply said, "go to your room and press 9 to dial out." Next time we go to Bali we will be giving Ayodya a miss.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Out in the middle of nowhere. Need a taxi to go everywhere as in Seminyak and Legian, everything was within walking distance. Great facilities if you have money to burn.

The resort was very large but our room was average size and very musty/damp smelling. The resort is designed to resemble a Balinese water palace and the gardens are very beautiful but we just found it all too big and old fashioned and overpriced. We found the staff to be bored looking and impersonal. We picked here because Nusa Dua is safe and this hotel has a beach and a kid's club. However, there were no pooltoys in the giant pool and hence no kids and the playground was closed for maintenance. The pool area and all walkways are extremely slippery when wet! The beach was quieter than Tanjung Benoa though with no noisy watersports.
Brochures advertising Balinese Theatre dinner and shows at the resort proved to be out of date and unavailable. The food was nothing special, parts of my breakfast which should have been hot were not.
We were locked out of our room at 12.30 pm on check out day even though we had organised a late check out (for an extra ++ charge)and we were not given any apology.
Shopping Tip:
I did like the Bali Refresh Spa, 10 minutes walk away in the shopping street. I went there three days in a row! The ladies are lovely and they offer free pick up or drop off.

Big Resort - Little Service
Nice Pool and close to the beach
6.3
the resort is situated in a nice area within nusa dua and has direct access to the beach and has a large swimming area also within the resort. the rooms are slightly outdated and require a refurbishment, however are clean and have everything you need. the biggest problem is the resort is the front desk staff failed to provide any introduction to the resort, where the room was, the pool area, breakfast times, restaurants etc. virtually it was here is your key, what are you still doing standing here....
the resort does have some very nice restaurants and bars. the problems it that they out price themselves that bad that you see hundreds of patrons leaving the resort every night to go and get dinner etc. at restaurants that are all within a short distance of the resort. simple business rules...meet the market or suffer. appears they will continue to suffer.
if you’re looking for a big pool, nice complex and close to the beach and want to do nothing else and expect nothing else then this resort is for you. if you want good customer experience, good value for money and just an overall pleasant experience look somewhere else.

Great resort
Location and Balinese feel
8.7
The resort is very big (over 500 rooms) but it still maintains a great Balinese feel.
Restaurant Tip:
Down the road, about 5 mins walk is the Nusa dua main street with some very good priced restaurants serving both great Indonesian and foreign foods.

A Sprawling Hotel in the Nusa Dua Enclave
A beautiful beach and the sea is clear
8.3
it is a good place for a family holiday if one enjoys the hotel as much as the island's other attractions. coveniently located not too far from the hustle and bustle of kuta but far enough to avoid them. exploring the hotel and its grounds is quite an experience.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Given its exclusive location, its best to rent a car. Furthermore, there are several shopping centres within Nusa Dua and nearby the hotel but not close enough to walk to.

Excellent service
great swiming-pool, nice beach, wonderful spa services
9.3
The reservation & payment through Agoda was for a 3 persons room (2 adults and one 7 yrs. old child) but they wanted to charge for the extra-bed. After talking to the front desk manager they kindly agreed not to charge the extra bed.
It was our only complain; otherwise we had a great stay and enjoyed very much the kind attentions at the hotel.
Have fun !!
Cheers from a happy family from Uruguay
