Hotel to stay one or two days

Bagus Hayden Hotel is a short distance from the main street in Kuta. It's ok to stay for one or two nights but as there is no windows in the bedrooms you can feel a bit claustrophobic. But the rooms are cleann and a good size. I didn't get the chance to use the swimming pool but it is always nice to have one when it's hot. The staff is really nice always happy to help.

the pool is not for swimming, you couldn't see the bottom it was so cloudy and there really wasn't room around the pool to lie down. bathroom very moldy and smelly and could use some remodelling.
Shopping Tip:
balinese people(most) will do anything to get money from you. they will bargain one price and when the deal is done ask for more. my cab agreed to take me to ubud for 150,000 rupiah and then wanted 200,000 when i got there, then another 20,000. don't use the shuttle in front of the hotel, they are a bait and switch and the price goes from 60,000 to 250,000

happily stayed a few days longer than anticipated which is a good indicator. staff was friendly and helpful yet unobtrusive. yes, as others have noted, the odors from the bathroom could be an issue for some. it was obvious that the hotel is aware of the problem and trying to fix it with deodorizers which perhaps only mask the greater underlying plumbing issue.
despite that, and receiving a white shirt back with unexplained rust-like stains through their otherwise cheap and efficient laundry service, i would still probably stay again.
lastly, i wish their wifi (or "wifey" has they called it) extended beyond the lobby and into the rooms. in these modern times, that should be standard and free.

I was very disappointed with this place. The pictures are deceiving. The breakfast that comes with is limited and pretty gross. The pool is tiny and in the middle of a parking lot with cars coming in and out. There is a sign next to the bed saying the cost if you get blood on the sheets. Disgusting. I would not go back and can't believe I paid so much for such a crappy place. I could have walked to Poppies and gotten same quality for half the price or good quality for the same.

The bathroom conditions are quite bad, doors could not be locked, and toilet seats are way too close to the wash basin.
The fans are very small and located in a place where it won't reach the whole area of the room.

Perfect location with a short walk to beach and night life. The staff was very nice, doing their best to help out. But the room didnt have a window. It was really hard to breath without AC. The toilet was stinking.
Shopping Tip:
Krishna shop, a 30 min walk from the hotel, a very cheap shop for local clothes and souvenirs.
