The best hotel for staying for a holiday at a reasonable price - nearby airport, shops and Kuta beach. Easy access to other places through booking transportation from hotel counter. The designs and features of the hotel building is very unique, and special and the staff is polite, friendly and can speak well to explain to tourists the places of Bali island.

Book a driver for the day. Bargain for a cost; it is much easier to travel to far places. He will also arrange anything you want to visit. Found this most helpful.

I have stayed at this hotel three times and would be happy to return again. I always book an extra night at the end of my stay so I do not have to worry about checking out at 6 pm (which is late checkout) to catch a plane at 11 pm/12 am. Normal checkout is noon. This gives me peace of mind so I can have a shower and leave in just enough time to catch the plane. I never arrange transfers as you can catch a cab easily at either the front or back of the hotel for approx 50,000 rupiah. And the same from the airport to the hotel. There is a laundry opposite the hotel reception that is very cheap. The hotel is admist many restaurants. Five-minute walk to Matahari. Ten-minute walk to the beach. Many market stalls at the back of the hotel. Opposite the hotel reception there is a mini store that sells cheap beer/soft drinks, cigarettes and small grocery items. At the back of the hotel there is a 7-Eleven type store that sells the same. To catch a taxi to Paddies Bar/Bounty Hotel/Bali Rock Hotel and Poppies 2 areas is only about 16,000 rp. A metered taxi to Denpasar one way will cost you about 50,000 rp or you can arrange for driver for approximately five hours for the cost of 100,000 rp. including return to the hotel. A five-hour return trip to beautiful Sanur Beach and the markets will cost you 100,000 rp. Many transport available at the front and back of the hotel.

• Shopping Tip : Out the back of the hotel to the right approximately three doors up the street on the same side of the hotel I found this fabulous cheap printing shop. You can purchase cups/t-shirts/calendars/badges and many others and they will transfer your special photos onto them. A coffee mug with up to 3 photos cost 25,000 rp. Accross the road from the back of the hotel Eddie makes and sells beautiful cheap jewellery 8,000 rp. And if you buy a few more you get some free. Eddie will even fan you if you are feeling hot.

This hotel is best suited for single/family travellers on a budget. The garden and swimming pool is a positive attraction. If you just need a bed and shower, certainly not a bad choice to stay.

• Shopping Tip : The location is good. Quiet, but only a stroll to shops and restaurants.
