Lovely Villa
Quiet, serene and good garden view
7.7
overall is a good stay, value for money. however am surprise by receptionist when he says no tooth brush set to be provided and have to go out to convenient store to buy one. otherwise it's a good stay. also internet (wifi) signal is very weak at room, have to go to lobby if really wants to be online. villa is better than standard room if you really want to get a taste of balinese style room.

Gentle, older style Bali experience
Staff wonderful, menu / food good, close to everything, beach, shops & eating
8.7
Older style bungalow rooms, bathroom a bit tired but clean. they are in the process of renovating them all,not noisy or a bother. You will need to ask for room to be sprayed before bed for mossies-not overly bad -just Bali. 5 min walk to beach, just behind Royal beach hotel. Near Spa's, made to measure stores, great food places.

Great location,friendly staff, great breakfasts
lovely older balinese style hotel, close to beach, quiet
7.7
Really enjoyed our stay here but evening drinks on deck spoilt by unpleasant odours from open drain running past room
Really friendly helpful staff. Early morning car booked to take us to the airport failed to arrive. Had a minor panic but they finally managed to get us a taxi. All good in the end.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others or stay there again ourselves
Travel tip:
If you don't mind walking there is plenty to see and do
shopping especially try some of the back streets for smaller authentic balinese restaurants and food.

Private hotel, close to the beach
Walking distance to beach, reasonably priced, quiet area
7.7
We stayed in a private villa, room was large, bathroom outside which was pretty but annoying due to the mosquitos. Hotel is hard to find- we had to direct every taxi driver ! However, it is very close to the beach. Turn left (south) down the beach to find a lot of lovely restaurants, which are great to visit just before sunset and watch the sun go down while sitting in a comfy bean bag.
Breakfast is good here, rooms are big and princess beds are comfortable. Just need to make sure you have the address with you at all times, as no one seems to know where it is and to keep the fly net down at night- those mozzies bite !!
Restaurant Tip:
Try Spanish tapas and a mojito at La Plancha Restaurant. Turn left (south) on the beach and you will come across alot of restaurants with coloured bean bags on the beach.

Beautiful Balinese villas
Great facilities, nice pool and live entertainment

This was a beautiful almost resort like hotel with a pool bar and friendly staff. So close to the beach and all amenities and shops. Really enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Restaurant Tip:
Nearby the hotel is Made's Warung which is a must visit in Seminyak. There you will find live performances, great food and hospitality. The night we went had a Balinese welcome dance but they also do tango every Saturday night.

Great location, great place
proximity to the beach, great breakfast, kind and helpful staff members
8.7
A great cosy hotel near Seminyak beach. I stayed 4 nights in a standard villa with an affordable price (with a 50% discount). The hotel is 5 mins away from the beach on foot which is great for this price of hotel. All the hotels just next to the beach are quite expensive in my memory. Hotel facilities are good although room doors are a bit aged and traditional style that they aren't closed perfectly. The breakfast is of good quality and with many choices. Staff members are very helpful (except a few who don't seem to know quite well the actual prices of taxi etc) and speak a good english. Think about hiring a taxi driver from the hotel, we had a great tour with him.

Nice Hotel
Quiet and good located, nice clean hotel and friendly staff
7.7
We've stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. We found the location good, 5 min walk from beach, shops and restaurants. Hotel is located just off the more busy roads, and small scale with only young families and couples during our stay which makes it comfortably quiet.
The garden in which the hotel is located is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms itself are authentic with traditional Balinese doors and windows. But also have the comfort of a nice shower, airco and TV. Staff is friendly and helpful (as all Balinese in general are)!
Have a watermelon juice at the poolside, it's the best we've had in Bali.
I've we were to give some feedback it would be that:
The double bed we had was small (1.40 m) and there was no mineral water provided for free (as was in all other hotels we've stayed in during our trip to Bali).
The breakfast (continental) we considered very minimal, very limited choice in bread and filling. The coffee was really bad (instant with no taste at all). Fortunately the breakfast disadvantage you can easily overcome, by enjoying a nice breakfast in one of many restaurants or warungs in the vicinity of the hotel. Breakfast and cappuccino with sea view for little money is easily available!
Restaurant Tip:
Really nice Indonesian food at Tekor Bali (Jl Pantai Legian). Try the Balinese rijsttafel!
If you're in for something different than nasi, burgers, pizzas and pastas go to La Plancha at Seminyak Beach for some Spanish tapas.

Nice small hotel built in a village style offers good opportunity to explore Bali. It´s away from the main road, but everything is easy reachable. To the beach it´s a 5 minute walk.
Rooms are clean and breakfast service is good.
