Great Service in a Sweet Hotel

You don't realise how much the staff of a hotel makes a difference in your stay. I loved bali so much im sure to come back again because of the service i got from these people.
Although seminyak is a bit further out from all the partying my friend and i intended on doing, it worked just fine with a cab costing us only a couple of bucks to get in and out to kuta. Shopping strips nearby were lovely and you didn't get many hassled and harassed like you would in kuta.
Hotel style was in cute little huts, made it really sweet. The crowd was slightly older, but people were lovely and not difficult so it made our stay enjoyable.
We spent time by the pool and the pool side bar, and it was relaxing and lovely. Quiet and a good change from the beaches in bali.
The staff offered free transport to lovely places like Jimbaran for dinner (a must go to), organised all our daily events for great prices.

LOvely setting for older family couples holiday

Located a bit out of busy town so could hear cocks crow etc. Easy walk to beach. Surf lessons great there with lifesavers.
Very helpful staff. Rooms good for price as we had 4 couples in 4 rooms together in one block so could sit around to play cards, drinks etc.
Pool area ok but not flash. Breakfast ok but not wonderful.
Disappointed 2 rooms not ready and asked to wait till 8pm for one of them. to compemnsate....An upgrade for one night to a villa ....was actually not a better room.
Restaurant Tip:
Go to Mannekin Pis...Belgian restaurant...vg food.
Take a cab to W ...just to see the hotel ..at dusk..and eat there if you are happy to spend a bit more.

on the pro side a 5min walk in either direction on the main street will take you to the beach or shops and restaurants. we found the room to be nice and cozy but did not like that our door didn't close all the way. also our tv didn't work but being that we didn't use it or need to we didn't bother complaining. the free breakfast was nice and we enjoyed hanging by the pool in the evenings. staff were nice and accomadating.

A good and cosy hotel. Rooms were extremely cramped.
Service not great - the hotel infact made a big issue of delaying check out by an hour. Drinking water not provided in rooms and you have to buy your own water. No coffee maker in room. Bathrooms are very smallish and difficult to have a comfortable bath in. The pressure in bathroom taps was not sufficient. Hot water not available.
