LOCATION WAS PERFECT,
ROOMS WERE GOOD AND CLEAN
BATHROOM WAS EXECELLENT - POWERFULL HOT WATER
STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY

I FOUND THE DYNASTY HOTEL A GOOD HOTEL TO STAY AT WITH MY 15YR AS THE LOCATION TO SHOPS, BEACH AND PLACES TO EAT WAS EXCELLENT, THE HOTEL STAFF WERE VERY FREINDLY ESPECIALLY THE BREAFAST STAFF WHO LOOKED AFTER OUR SPECIAL REQUEST FOR MEALS, THE HOTEL HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN AN UP MARKET HOTEL INCLUDING A GYM THAT THE EQUIPMENT WAS NOT RUNDOWN OR BROKEN.THE ONLY DOWN SIDE FOR US WAS THE SIZE OF THE POOL, WE LIKE BIG.
EVERTHING WAS WELL TAKEN CAREOFF AND CLEAN.
Restaurant Tip : I love the food in Bali but was supriced at the cost and quality of the food in the food hall, top floor of the centro shopping mall.

efficient staffing the staff and administration of Bali Dynasty were frindly and very co-operative in all things that we needed on our stay in Bali .
The hotel was very much geared for families with a lot of activities for all .
My family would definetely stay again at Bali Dynasty min.
we would try to get upgrade to new section near completion .
Shopping Tip : try to shop at the larger centres as it is not worth the hassle of bartering at the markets

Close to Bali Discovery shopping mall. Nice clean Deluxe room (I understand we are the first customers to stay in these newly refurbished rooms). Small adult swimming pool and dirty beaches. The best thing about this hotel is its location. It took us about 5 minutes (
maybe less) to walk to the main shopping mall which is Bali Discovery. The food court, located on the top floor of Bali Discovery is the place to go if you are looking for cheap, fresh and tasty food. My son loved the kids pool which has a giant water slide. I personally dislike the main swimming pool mainly because of its size. As far as I am concern, A Hotel of this magnitude should have a much larger adult swimming pool. The current pool reminds me of images I have seen via email of public swimming pools in China, small and cramped. Another down side of this Hotel is, to get to the beach, one must cross what seem like public land at the back and in the process, brave the hordes of souvenir peddlers that are often hanging around the area.
Restaurant Tip : Try the "Rogan Josh" meal at the Queen of India restaurant just outside the hotel. The lamb is cooked to perfection and taste pretty good, downside is, it is a little pricey. AVOID the thai restaurant just opposite the hotel, I think it is called KIN KHOA THAI RESTAURANT, the food here is awful, expensive and there were flies everywhere. For good and cheap food try the food court located on the top floor of Bali Discovery shopping mall.

Great Kids club, caters for everyone The Dynasty was great...it is in a really central location so that you can walk everywhere, it has a great kids club, its also has a great spa and the included breakfast was great...lots of choice and tasty. The rooms were nice and did not have the musty smell you expect from most Bali hotels. I will definitely return.

walking distance to Kuta,Legian.nice pool/garden area,friendly staff and good service superior rooms really tired and in need of major refurb, The Dynasty is now geared for families more than singles or couples-lots of kids when we were there.A major refurb of the poolview rooms was nearing completion(June 1)with the remaining garden view rooms badly in need of a makeover(due to start in Feb 2010 we were told),new family rooms were excellent-2x flat screen tv's and dvd player.The room service is great,as are the restaurants with the staff being genuinely friendly with nothing being to much trouble.Close to airport and the Kuta/Legian area.Overall a very pleasant stay and would return(but not till the refurb is complete)

Happy hour was great value and the inhouse Chinese restuarant was well worth the visit.
Staff very nice and helpful. Some parts had already been refurbished but our room on the ground floor was ok but in need of an update, They are currently undergoing major renovation and it should be a lot better when finished. Foe an overnight stay this was a great location with good restuatrants all around.
The upgrades to the hotel are in progress and when finished should be good.
Use of the departure lounge for the late checkout was a bonus.
Restaurant Tip : Indian restaurant at the front of the hotel on the road had fabulous food and was very reasonably priced.

the Pool, activities around the pool, the staff and the kids club We have stayed at this hotel at least 10 or more times. We have 2 young children and they love the hotel as there are always lots of other families staying there. The kids club is good and the activities around the pool are great.
However Since 1 April 2009 they have increased their prices by over 40% and as they charge in US dollars to us in Australia it means an increase of about 100%.
I doubt we will be staying there again for the simple fact that it is getting too expensive for the average Australian family. If they adjusted the price we would stay again.

Lovely reception and bar area.
Within easy walking distance of central Kuta. Very nice shopping complex close by. Booking over the internet was not able to get breakfast included.
Breakfast was expensive to purchase. The Bali Dynasty is an attractive, comfortable and clean hotel in easy walking distance of central Kuta. Also close by is a very nice modern shopping complex.
The hotel has a very plush reception and bar area and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are very nice and they are spacious with all amenities. Each room has a nice balcony with chairs and a table, overlooking an attractive garden with water features.
Breakfast was very good, buffet style but for Bali a little expensive.
There is also an Irish pub which is part of the complex. We spent a very pleasant evening there where we ate and listened to a band.
Restaurant Tip : Opposite the hotel is a pleasant cafe that provides an Aussie breakfast at very reasonable rates.

Clean, comfortable hotel. Nice balconies. Near centre of Kuta. Breakfast wasn't included and too expensive. Clean, comfortable, modern hotel with very friendly staff and good service. Any assistance requested was provided. Plush reception area. Rooms have nice balconies overlooking garden. Hotel is within walking distance of main centre. Also can walk along the beach to Kuta from back of hotel. Nice walk. There is also a nice air conditioned shopping complex close by. Several nice restaurants right outside the hotel. The Irish pub in the hotel grounds is a lot of fun with very friendly staff and a band was playing.
We were disappointed that are booking over the internet didn't include breakfast. The hotel breakfast was too expensive. However, right opposite the front of the hotel is a Balinese style cafe upstairs that provides a great cheap American breakfast.

nice location, many activity, currently under renovations, wall between the beach. i have stayed in this hotel in feb 2009. I got nice deal from agoda. The check in was smooth. the room was little bit old but its ok. i had a nice vies over the garden. sitting on the balcony and read or watch the garden was great.

Good interior, friendly and helpful staff, big swimming pool. Good facilities such as towel service at the pool, spa which offers nice beauty treatments and massages, manicure and pedicure service at the pool, close to the Discovery Mall and close to the other shops. In general close to everything, also clubbing area and good restaurants. There is also a hairdresser, always convenient when you need one. The food is not as good as expected. Preferred to eat outdoors. The room service is also not that good. The bathroom was also not that satisfying, since it suffers some malfunctions such a broken light and the interior looked old. The Bali Dynasty Hotel is a hotel in Kuta situated next to the Discovery Mall. Looks luxurious from the in-and outside. The swimming pool looks great and very relaxing. The spa also provides with lots of good treatments to pamper yourself (I would recommend the massage with the flower oil and the flower bath, so relaxing!). The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Restaurant Tip : In general the food outdoors is nicer and cheaper compared to the food the hotel offers. If you want to experience the real Balinese food always looks for the small places (warung) and not that touristic. Always handy to ask the locals, they know best and are always willing to help.

The staff was fantastic - very friendly. Our Surpier pool side room was beautiful. I would diffently stay at the Bali Dynasty if I returned to Bali - The location was great, Hotel was very clean and Staff extremely friendly.
Shopping Tip : The markets where just down the road and restraunts accross the road from the Dynasty
