Good for the price

For the price, had a fabulous pool and plenty of people around the pool area

Booked a cheapy for the first night in case changes to flights and arriving around 11:00pm, so a place to sleep. Older Balinese style Hotel. Room was ok for the price, clean and secure. Fabulous pool area made you want to get your swimmers on and go for a swim. Within close walking distance is "Spiders Bar". Cold beers and free pool upstairs, good for a drink on arrival. Breakfast basic but ok. As a "one" nighter, would I stay there again, for the price yes.
Hotel Feature Tip: The pool is enticing make sure you take a dip.

pleasant hotel with lovely staff

The hotel room has the facilities I want. The price is comparable to others with those facilities. Room size is good. The hotel is designed in a 'Bali' style - nicer than the usual concrete box room.

I have stayed at this hotel many times now for extended periods. I have learned that the upstairs rooms are nicer than the downstairs rooms. They are fresh and dry. There is a nice little balcony with some breezes. The downstairs rooms may have rotting timbers from rising damp and plumbing. Out of curiosity, I went to a number of hotels in Kuta and Legian to compare facilities and rates. I found that the Balisani Padma is about average for the facilities offered. But I still felt that the Balisani Padma had an edge over the others. The hotel is close to many restaurants, convenience stores, laundry services, and ATM's. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. I will be happy to stay at this hotel again.

Moldy

Nice pool, easy walk to Legian Beach

I tried 2 rooms and they both held a strong smell of mold. The staff was accomodating and let me move at 10:30 at night, but the second one was almost as bad.

Lovely hotel with full Balanese character

The character of the hotel, great pool, close to the action of Kuta

Booked through Agoda. No problems whatsoever. Hotel was lovely. Breakfast was great. Pool was superb. Staff friendly & helpful. We expected & understood we're staying in Bali, so we don't worry about towels a little bit thin or sheets not bleached while, or hot water not very hot. It's expected. We were there in May = off-peak, but would stay there again next time.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Hire a car with a driver for a day & get out of the tourist parts & see the real Bali.

Cheap Hotel

Good location
7.3
The location of this hotel was the best thing about it. I didn't feel the security was that great as the door was locked by a small padlock which could have been cut easily if someone tried to break in. Although it was a good room for the small price I paid, I found the hotel to be quite old & rundown. The staff were nice, the breakfast wasn't 'buffet' - but you could choose from a list of things for them to make fresh for you (there was about 4 things on breakfast menu). The bed was comfey, but bedroom furniture was old.

Charming rooms, beautiful grounds

Good breakfast, quiet

We stayed for our first night in Bali. The next day, after looking around, we moved to Kuta where there were cheaper rooms available for about the same quality. The bathroom was moldy, but very useable. The balcony was nice, bed was comfortable (but as everyone says, very creaky) and the staff very friendly.
Nightlife Tip: JP's in Seminyak has good food and a great live band. Apache reggae bar in Kuta is lots of fun.
