Balisani Padma - Legian GOOD place for money value Guest Rating: 4.7

I stayed in here with group(16 person), with kids under 15 years old. The place are nice and clean also the breakfast also good enough for the price of the hotel. There are many of shopping stalls near by this hotel, and also just need to walk for a few minutes to go to the beach. There are also many other cafe around this hotel. Only dont forget to bring a mosquito patch because the room is made as a cottage style. Thank you Agoda for the great price you offer.

We stayed here for 3 days 2 night in group (16person). The area is good because it is not too crowded, the beach is only a few minutes walk from the hotel and there are many stores around this area so you can just walk from the hotel to the shopping area. The breakfast is good, I like the fried pork rice and the noodles-yummy, and took breakfast in the pool area. The room is clean enough for the value price only don't forget to bring a mosquito patch or mosquito killer if you want to stay at this Hotel because the room was built in a cottage style. The bed is really small, I could not even turn when I was sleeping because I brought my own long pillow. But anyway this hotel is good value for money.

The hotel itself is nice but the rooms let it down. It has a nice traditional style and the outdoor areas are neat with trees and flowers and a good clean pool, and it feels small and friendly. However the rooms were dark and showing their age. For example the wood in the bathroom was beginning to rot around the edges and the sheets on the bed weren't exactly a crisp white any more! But is a budget place so you get what you pay for, and overall it was much better that the Bakung Sari where i stayed before. I wouldn't say it was dirty just a little shabby so if that doesn't bother you then it is a good option.

The hotel is cheap (rates) and for your money you get a good value. Location is nice, just a short walk to the beach. If you give some tips then the hotel staff is attentive and gives good support and help when needed. Unfortunately they also offer you to help of "friends", e.g. to go to Jimbaran Bay or other places. With this we have made a bad experience as the service was bad. The restaurant in the hotel is not the best, but breakfast is ok and simple. Most of the time we did eat at other places.

Location close to Legian Beach, and cheap rates.

Very simple rooms, sometimes maintenance needed (for two days no hot water), rooms are a little bit dark.

• Restaurant Tip : Check out the restaurants the beach street in legian beach, close to the Jayakarta Hotel or Double 6. There you can get good food (Lanay and Zanzibar (Seefood)). Never use the taxi drivers who wait in front of the hotel. Better wait for an empty taxi which passes by.

The Balisani Padma Hotel. It`s cheap, and worth the money. It`s a really nice hotel in the price class. The pool I think is the best, the pool offers you nice swimming, and even chairs in the water you can order drinks in the poolbar, thats really nice. Breakfast is clean, with rice, nudles, melon fruites and toasted bread, fresh juice and coffee. In the room you have the basics, a bed, a desk with a chair and a tv, a bath with a shower and balcony. I liked the room and for those people that thinks lizards are scary its no good idea to stay here, Ive seen 4 lizards already that lives in my room, but its just geckos, friendly lizard, eats the mosquitos. The room also offers you a high quality air condition. You can get 18 degrees celsius if you want to. The crew of the hotel is also friendly helps you with everything, the cleaners is also good.

• Restaurant Tip : The Je-Je restaurant nextdoor is nice, they even offer you internet(wifi) and they have computers for you if you aint got one already.

the hotel is old,but would have been good in its day.the best feature of the hotel would be the swimming pool.the breakfast is very basic and all self serve,including poring of own coffee etc.the rooms are clean and seems to be plenty of hot water.i would not stay here again though i would look for something more value.

We enjoyed our 5 nights in Balisani. It is in a quiet area and the hotel grounds and pool are very well maintained. They have massage service at the hotel and the breakfast buffet is great. The restaurant has good and decent priced food also. The rooms have AC, fridge, TV, balcony, bathtub and shower. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beach and near to bars, restaurants and shops.

The hotel has a nice pool, good breakfast buffet, the rooms are nice to for the price.

The water in the shower was not hot but since it was hot outside it wasn´t a big issue.

My mother and I had booked this for the first week of our 3 week stay in Bali. After a few days we decided to stay for the remaining time. Reasons being the location was great (short track to Legian Beach), the hotel had great Balinese character, the rooms were in traditional style with lovely patios and because it was both quiet for sleeping yet had a range of people, cultures and ages staying in it. We loved this about it as loads of people would stop at our patio and chat, we met a lot of wonderful travellers. Mum had a great time as there were people from all over the world and all ages so she felt a part of it too. The staff are friendly and the feel is relaxed, the pool lovely and gardens lovely. It was great value for money!! We stayed in room 153 which is a great position for meeting people. We had a twin room, but there were also double and king rooms with four-poster beds which would be romantic for a couple. We did get moved at the start due to some flooding but it was no drama. The rooms are quite dark but this is welcome when it was so hot. There was air con and good showers in our room.

• Restaurant Tip : There is a great restaurant on the same road as hotel..its called Le Monde..out of hotel turn left, follow road around about 5 mins...you will see it on the right, a large set of stairs and it is up on first floor..great for people watching, great food, staff wonderful and prices good for dinner...on left just before Le Monde is a great little place for indonesian food for lunch for only £1

I booked this hotel purely on the fact that the Agoda hotel description states that the hotel has internet in the rooms. Not only does the hotel not have internet in the rooms, but it also does not have internet at all in the whole hotel. This is a total misrepresentation and very disappointing. If I'd stayed for more than 1 night I'd be looking for a refund. The rooms are very small, dusty, old and tatty - the lights work on scruffy pieces of string, the room doesn't have a proper shower. I've stayed in many backpackers that were much better and half the price. For this kind of price there are much better options available on the internet. I'd stay clear of this one.

Rooms are very small, old, tatty and in poor condition. Rooms have free drinking water but they are in bottles that require a bottle opener, and needless to say, none is available in the rooms. The TV is a tiny old portable TV.
