2 bedroom Villa stay

I stayed in a 2 bedroom villa in a group of 3 people, the private pool is just amazing. Cleanliness wise, i would only rate it average, there were more than 40 ants on the sheets and I had no idea where they came from. I called the housekeeping service to clean it up but then the next morning when I woke up, I have killed over 30 ants on my back. After 2 nights of ants struggle, I decided to spray anti-bug spray all over my bed, of course , i gotta put up with the smell of it too. There was once a 2 minute power outage at midnight but it's back to normal on its own. F&B is really good, Tamarind restaurant worths a try!

This hotel is simply amazing. There is no other word to describe how great and unique our stay was. The staff is very friendly, attentive, anticipate your needs and very helpful. The villa was huge, with a private pool and jacuzzi, a large ocean view. A must to do, a memorable moment. We had our "caramel moon" with my gf, kind of pre-wedding trip, and Banyan Tree made this journey magical.

My stay was just fantastic. The service was excellent and all the staffs were very courteous and friendly. They really treat you like a super VIP. The villa was just fantastic. It's very big and you can get lost in it.

a resort worth the money you pay for

it is a heavenly experience to stay at the pool villa with the ocean view. it is so luxurious that I felt sinful with such a good life. I feel that it is worth the price as compared to just the garden view. the villa is spacious. we managed to jacuzzi in warm water under the stars. the pool is nice for a leisure swim, while enjoying the scenery. the spread of food for the breakfast is excellent. we can skip lunch after the breakfast. for dinner, we had 1 night at the Bambu resturant, and another at the Jamuna. the pricing is surprisingly not expensive, and the services excellent. to me, it is more worth it to eat at the restaurant than to travel out to town for the dinner. the only problem we had was the bed that trap heat too well, and we woke up in sweat at night.

One night stay not seems to be Welcomed

staffs were nice and polite. embraced by greens, ocean and silence which can really give you a wonderful retreat time.
buggy required to travel between villa and restaurant / main lobby, it takes more than 15 minutes wait after dinner at bambu. huge villa but not much amenities inside, even iron and iron board need to call for bringing in. one night stay is not welcomed as most of the dinning options and services are necessary to book in advance. it is ridiculous that they given me a discount coupon for dinning in resort, but 3 options out of 4 must book in advance, the remaining one is for ju-ma-na which i really want to try but they just make it close for every monday starting from february 2013.
the pool in the villa is nice and the water is filtered very well unlike other resorts. jacuzzi is also wonderful experience especially under a starry sky, but the water evaporated quickly, need to ask staff for refill.
for food at bambu, the raw materials are carefully selected and fresh, but there is room for improvement about the cooking technique.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Make sure you call the hotel in advance for dinning options. For those who come especially for Ju-Ma-Na, make sure that you are not coming on Monday.
