The hotel is no where near the kuta town nor its shopping district or beach. The hotel is listed as a 4 star but to me, its services and make up is only of a 3 star. The breakfast is lousy and the air conditioners in the rooms do not function well, and hence the atmosphere in the rooms is rather damp.
The only good thing is that i managed to get a good bargain with a car plus driver from the tour touts that function at the hotel gates.
Travel tip:
I would opt for a hotel at the city centre of kuta/ beach area during my next visit....hotels in outlying areas are not a good choice in bali as the public transport is poor and one has to definitely rent a car to get around the island.

I was left unsatisfied by the service at this hotel. Floor is vinyl and is unstuck in some places. Door to balcony required serious lifting to open. Cleaners did not service room until late at night when I had asked them to come at 4pm they didn't and I had to ask reception in order to get them to clean. Last night, had to pay for whole night to get late checkout and they didn't clean the room. The pool is dirty, The balcony could give you splinters just by touching it. I will not stay again.
Shopping Tip:
Travelling to Kuta beach is a good 30 minute walk. The drivers at the front charge you twice the amount of a bluebird taxi, unless you go by bike and even the bike is expensive.

My first trip to bali I stayed here as a solo traveller so for my 2nd trip with my teenage daughter I booked first 2 nights here then thought i'll try for something different afterwards. I was so unhappy with next hotel that I forfeited my money and went back. Its such a warm homely hotel and easy to meet ppl by the pool. After 3 days in Ubud we had 3 more days accom to find. It was no question as to where we would go back to. For the price you cant beat this resort. Breakfast is unreal. Its a bit away from the main hustle but only a 10min walk to everything.

reasonable with room size but has no balcone as i prefer to have
location was not good as the area wasn't meant for tourist as shops wise these back streets scary at night , dirty , and noisy it seems like hidding place

the good thing is that, do have a shutle bus to take u to the shopping mall

Shocking made my daughter sick

The room was not up to standed nolock no fridge ,it appears she had the worst room in Balia it was a birthday present .On day 4 she was on the pc next to the enginnering room and she could smell chemicals and her eyes were very sore and then a massive head ache and then she had sores and she had a allergic reaction from the chemicals,She left straight awy and seen a doctor who gave her tablets and creams .She was so frightened she wanted to come home ,Singapore airliner got her home the next morning .She seen her GP and he gave her stronger medication and creams.Sarah stats it rates at 2/10 that was because the staff were helpful .There was no rooms left so she could get not move .She will never go to Bali again.

very nice room, but weak air conditioning

the standard room is clean, big but the air condition in it is too weak to cool it.
the location is a bit far from the center of the town, but they have a shuttle bus.
the breakfast can be improved by increasing the varitey of the food provided.
the staff there are very helpful and descent.
