Lovely staff and service with a smile
The location is good, very convenient with a mini mart 24 hours open. Hotel staffs are helpful but not efficient. I like most is their service staff, no matter how many times you complain, they will still put a smile on their face.

my first impression of this hotel is gone because i was being asked to wait for 15 mins for the airport transfer as the hotel staff had forgotten about it. i waited for the staff like some stupid fool at the arrival hall looking out for my name, and in the end, i then found out that they are not there to pick me up and still asked me to wait.
secondly, i asked for a double bed room and they got me 2 single bed and join them up. i was very angry because this is not what i wanted. my plan for the day had been screwed up just because i had wasted so much time waiting for the hotel staff to come and pick me up at the arrival hall, and now, i'll have to wait for them to change room for me. i wasted a day over there when i could be able to go out for shopping and etc. during the whole stay, i am still fine about it because after all, i will only be back to sleep after a long tiring day. but i think i wouldn't want to recommend my friends to go there and stay, if they were given a choice.
Shopping Tip:
There is a free transportation from the hotel to the shopping mall. And, near the shopping mall, there are many small shops along the street where you are able to bargain and etc. This is what I like the most :) Other than that, nothing else already.

Lovely Cosy hotel

We stayed at best western resort kuta for 3 nights and we had a very relaxing time. They offered free shuttle to discovery mall. The rooms were very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Although we stayed there during Nyepi, we didn't mind being coo pep up in the hotel room because it was really comfortable. Would stay here again if we're in Bali!

We stayed in the Deluxe room which was a very large room on the third floor with a great view over the pool area. The breakfast and other meals we had at the restaurant were very nice. The breakfast range was quite broad for a 3 star hotel and the staff are lovely. It has a great pool with depths of 3 metres to about 30 cm for toddlers. The bathroom was a good size and room service kept everything spotless each day. This hotel is not near the beach but the pool is so good who cares. Also it's only about a 10 minute walk or a IDR (A$1) taxi ride if you did want the beach.
Our only complaint is the rooms don't have fridges but glass door wine chiller cabinets. These don't have freezers and don't get as cold as a fridge but will cool a drink. However, for all your needs there is a Circle K convenience store right across the road. We will stay there next trip.
Shopping Tip:
10 minute walk to the Discovery Mall and 20 minutes to the Matahari shopping centre. Walk there for exercise and taxi back with your shopping. The taxis are very clean, plentiful and friendly

Best Western Kuta was my second hotel whilst staying in Bali, it is very very close to Waterbom Park, and Discovery Mall, the hotel also offer hourly a free shuttle to and from the mall. The best things about this hotel was the service, and the amazing buffet breakfast. The downsides to this accommodation is it was not the cleanest, the robes looked as if they weren't changed and had been clearly worn, the sheets and duvets all had stains or rips in them. And the shower still had white soap scum on the floor of the shower. I had a superior room which was enormous!!!! And the bathroom was amazing!!! For the price it is worth the stay. But if you are a clean freak these rooms are not for you. Although it was hygienic and sheets seemed washed although stained I would give the rooms 7/10. Location was VERY difficult, it is not in the heart of Kuta, so walking around where the hotel is didn't seem safe, as it was located around small alleyways, not main streets, and there are a load of drivers who sit outside all day and try and drive you which was VERY annoying!!!! More pros are the pool bar, free wifi, hotel airport transfers, and the friendly staff.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Do not or try not to get a room Where the corridor faces out to Kubu Anyar street as every morning garunteed there are motorbikes and dogs barking and you will be woken up at 6-7am! I stayed in 2101 which was facing the street.

first given room ac was not cooling. they given me a large room without charging anything., still that air condition is also not enough to cool that large room.
hotel staff is very good, and very helping for all necessary arrangements.
i got special price , it is really worth for the money we pay.
Restaurant Tip:
Take a motor bike for 5 $/day. Then you can reach anywhere ,form the hotel.
