Not great food, not that near the action but good value. Owner wanted to offer us a good price for transport back down south, but is wasn't a good price until we bartered for a while.

We much enjyed staying at clean, comfortable room with beartiful panoramic sea view and Balinese garden.
The staffs and owner are cheerful,kind and helpful to organize whatever we want to do.
The food at open-air restaurant in front of beatuful beach are tasty. The bleakfast can be served at the room balcony privately.
They have a motorcycle for rent, transportation services, privately arranged sight-seeing, all with reasonable price. Recommendable cottage...
We will back again.

Best Bungalows in the Amed Area
location - completely central; great snorkelling and scuba diving nearby; awesome view; restaurant was fantastic; friendly staff; Noman (the owner) can organise whatever you like!

what a find the beten waru bungalows are! noman, the owner, is a genuinely good guy and runs a great business offering cheap clean rooms and good grub in an even better location.
the room itself was quite large, with a beautiful 4 poster bed and mosquito net with a single bed to the side. the outdoor shower provides a real genuine feel to the bungalow. serviced every day, the bungalow was kept immaculately clean by the staff!
there's plenty to do in the amed area and noman makes everything even more accessible. we utilized his availability of airport transfers, boat tickets to gili trawangan (he even picked us up once we returned from gili t and took us to kuta!), fishing trips, snorkelling gear and laundry service!
the friendly staff can certainly cook too, with the restaurant at beten waru offering some of the best food in the region! we tried many of the local warung and i have to say, my most memorable dish was the garlic prawns at beten waru our first night! the complimentary breakfast was also an absolute delight!
i highly recommend beten waru bungalows as i really enjoyed my stay here!

Very nice hotel with private cottages, situated on in a green garden on a hill overlooking the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant and service. Close to the dive spots around Amed and Tulamben.
