Peace and Quiet Near City Square
Location, Rice Padi View/Sounds, Free Shuttle
6.7
The best part about Biyukukung is the location... it is conveniently located near the city, yet away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms face a rice padi field and you are lulled to sleep at night by the sound of frogs, instead of traffic, noisy tourists and lively bars.
They provide a free shuttle into the city and will also pick you up, just minutes after calling... making it more affordable to stay outside the city square, enjoying a bit more peace and quiet. It is close enough to walk to many areas too.
The room itself is average... bedroom with aircon upstairs and bathroom downstairs. However, I wouldn't rate it 4 stars. It's a bit rundown, wifi is unreliable and they provide no shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, etc. I was only in Ubud for a one night stopover and left too early to take advantage of the included breakfast.

nice calm hotel
quiet clean and comfortable
8.7
Booked a deluxe pool access room and it was large room with big bed and big bathroom and balcony overlooking rice fields and swimming pool. Pool was nice to relax in during hot humid afternoons. Staff friendly and hotel provides free transportation around town. Never had complimentary breakfast during stay so no idea how good or bad it was. Internet in room worked in daytime but I believe they turn it off at nite and back on in morning. Good restaurants we enjoyed were IBA OKA for the suckling pig and Nomad. Went to Mozaic restaurant but was not overly impressed (service was 4 star but the chef seemed to be on a "foam" craze). Bebek Bengil "the dirty duck" restaurant was not worth the money either. Had a nice couples massage from Happy Finger spa on Monkey Forest road. I would stay here again

Insects could be a problem especially during hot seasons, suggest to bring along Mosquitor Repellent.

Friendly staffs with fantastic rice paddy view
Friendly staffs, nice view and average spa
9.3
The decoration and the environment impressed me the most. Besides that, the staffs at the reception are very helpful. Receptionist named Bawa who helped us the most even with our car rental and other bookings as some of the Indonesians are not really good in speaking English especially through the phone. We got 50% off with the spa and massage treatment as we are the guest of the hotel although the price is not the cheapest you can find in Ubud. One thing to mention, the wifi didn't work in our room hopefully this problem has been solved. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Biyukukung Spa and Suites, will definitely come back if we plan to visit Ubud next time.

Great location with views over the rice paddies
Location, coutesy bus, spa

A lovely quiet oasis in the crazy busy Ubud. Close enough to walk around Ubud, but a great free courtesy bus available to get you to and pick you up from further places a little further away. Very attentive staff, nothing too much trouble, a great spa for your massages and treatments so you don't have to even leave the hotel & the choice of two pools. All this with lovely views across rice paddy fields. Great value for money

great time, short and sweet. The staff were great
Great staff, nice amenities and pool, great location.

The only thing is some of the rooms can be a little bit of a hike from the main part of the hotel. Just be prepared, it was nice overall!
