Bumas Hotel Bali Info
Set in the village of Sanur, one of the less-developed areas of Bali, this 75-room hotel offers guests relaxing accommodations amidst traditional ambience. The Bumas Hotel also has a great location, just 200 meters from Sanur beach and minutes from the business and shopping districts of Denpasar. Dining takes place each day outdoors, in a thatched room pavilion that’s typical of Balinese and Javanese styles, and the menu features Indonesian, Chinese and European selections. The two large swimming pools are unique for a hotel of this size and offer guests more opportunities to unwind. balcony nice, pool ok, room ok.
toilet not flush very good. shower: water everywhere because they run very slow, must be something stuck on the sewer.. yuck.
Everything was good after we use the bathroom and the toilet. We will never stay at this hotel again. Breakfast was ok, nothing special.

I liked the size of my room ,the cleanliness of the room, I was on the first floor and had a pleasant balcony to relax on.It has 2 big pools and ample lounges around the pools which are set in attractive tropical gardens. the staff are all without exception friendly, And for the price the position is great being only about 50 metres from the main street and a further two hundred metres or so from the beach
I didnt find too many cons, the towels are fairly old , the water pressure in my room was not great and sometimes the hot water was not available during the middle of the day.
The first impression after having been dropped off at the hotel is not impressive. The entrance into the property is very nondescript and could do with a lot of updating. Check in was no problem, the staff were pleasant and efficient processing my booking, Inside the hotel complex I liked the tropical garden atmosphere with about 4 large building surrounding the 2 pools My room was large and had a Kingsize bed which was a bit harder than what i am used to but not uncomfortably so The t.v only showed the local channels. The bathroom is rather oldfashioned with a shower over the bath but no screen or curtain around it , which resulted in a lot of water on the bathroom floor every time i used the shower Breakfast was included in the room tariff and is sufficient but fairly basic.
I ws there for 22 nights and after a while was almosr treated as family by the staff .Considering the low cost of the room I feel that I got excellent value for money and will most definately stay there again next time I am visiting Bali
Shopping Tip : when visiting the locl shops or the markets either on the beach or at the night markets , start your bargaining at about a third of the asking price and dont increase your offer by very much , the same goes for transport ,where you have to negotiate a price beforehand, If you take a taxi insist thet the driver starts the meter before you drive off
| Low price choice in Sanur - good location |

the condition of hotel worn out
We were on a transit through Sanur for one night and had to find a place to stay in short notice, we arrived late and left early - due to this we did not want to spend our budget on a expensive hotel this time, for this purpose this hotel was perfect. Cheap, doubleroom with AC, breakfast included, central location. Ok for a nights sleep!
