Candi Beach Cottages is a four star set in the beautiful Mendira Bay in east Bali. The charming cottages, comfortable rooms, beachside restaurant, cosy bar, lobby lounge, two refreshing swimming pools, and blissful massage pavilions, are set within a coconut grove garden that gently rolls on to a beautiful private white sand beach. Natural colors and local materials have been blended to create a resort that harmonises with the environment. Here guests can you can go rafting, shop for bargains, enjoy cultural performances of Hindu dance epics, cycle, visit ancient kingdoms and mystical water palaces, climb mighty volcanoes or go diving among exotic fish.

Please be informed that Bali island celebrates Nyepi (Silent) Day each year on below dates. The Nyepi (Silent) Day is a day of absolute silence throughout the island. No outdoor activities are allowed including check in and check out from hotels. March 23, 2012 | March 12, 2013 | March 31, 2014 | March 21, 2015 | March 9, 2016 | March 28, 2017
Please note about the renovation from 5 January 2013 - 31 January 2014 :
1. All project vehicles and workers will use the side access way outside of the resort and guest
will not see them.
3. The whole development area will be closed and cordoned using high partitions.
4. Working time is 08.00 – 18.00 including Sundays and public holidays, except Nyepi Day.
5. No noise works will be carried out on 24 December 2013 and 31 December 2013.

Not the most interesting of destinations

We stayed in a deluxe room which was well appointed and comfortable. The resort is located by the sea and has two nice sized pools. There is some construction at the front of the hotel but we really didn't hear a sound from it all day. The hotel currently offers free buffet dinner to offset any inconvenience from the construction. Nice gesture but the food is terrible! Unfortunately, the wifi is sporadic at best and weak in the room we stayed in. Although service is generally good some room service dishes were left in the corridor for our entire stay of 3D/2N. For those who aren't the type to stay in the resort the whole time, you can rent a motorbike from the resort but you'll find that Candidasa has pretty much nothing to offer.

a staff came to chat us up. Spot on in saying, in Bali, the streets are not so clean, but the mind is clean.
in summary, a great place to relax, clear your mind. And the great pools, lawns and great sun does help. imagine that with great sun beds and the sound of the ocean waves crashing onto the beach with its wind in your hair.
Wonderful rooms with excellent staff to top it all up.
