The hotel wasn't really up to standard, and you can find way better places in that price range in the area. The walls seemed paper thin - basically you could hear the neighbouring guests in the bathroom. On the up side, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. Nevertheless, stay somewhere else if you can.

At best I would say this hotel is barely average. Within the price bracket in Ubud there are many properties that are much better. The problem is that the rooms are completely without personality. Hotels in Ubud really make efforts to at least make guest remember they are staying in Bali by furnishing the room in presenting in with the craft and culture in mind. Casa Ganesh makes no effort at all. The gardens are ok, but again. most hotel gardens in Ubud are far better. The pool is ok but most are better. So the hotel is ok but most are better....

The hotel has a good location with sights, restaurants and shopping all in close proximity. It is not luxurious but very comfortable and the staff is extremely helpful.
