A good hotel
staff, pool and breakfast

We enjoyed our stay and the staff were wonderful. The room was smaller than I was expecting but it was very clean. Nothing was too difficult for the staff and the hotel is very close to the restaurant district and the beach. Great pool and garden. We would be happy to recommend The Chonos to others. Ths spa was really expensive compared to to other spas in the town.

Great location for a family holiday, good eating options in a range of different places, easy access to local villages, shopping, attractions. Great local massage places - you dont have to spend high in hotel, you can access more traditional Bali services outside.

Stayed for 5 nights. Hotel is a good location for the 2 alleys leading to the beach that have all the bars & restaurants on. Simple but adequate breakfast with a few diff options. Free wifi. Nice cool pool. Staff are friendly & helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Air panas (hot springs) are a nice day out (10k from kalibukbuk).

When we arrived at the hotel we get nice welcome drink and flowers which surprise me. We did have splendid time staying with them and the owner of the hotel actually took time to greet us.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Just walk 5 minutes you will reach Lovina Beach and also the famous KakaTua Cafe

Well located near centre of Kalibukbuk and near beach yet enough away from loud bars. Has lovely garden area and attractive pool area. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our 6 night stay here.
Shopping Tip:
You can get much nicer fabric and silk products here for much better prices than Kuta.

OK hotel but need omproving in some areas

Location is good for Lovina, close to bars and places to eat. Room was clean but lacked TV, ok for us but may not be for others. Worse thing was the water virtually non-existant in shower and were told same in each room. Basic furniture and small pool meant this seemed a little overpricrd for area. Would stay again for short stay if water situation sorted and priced a little better. Breakfast was good though although other food a little expensive and only average.

Nice hotel close to the nightlife

The room was nice, and the bed was comfortable. The pool was nice and useful. The breakfst was very good and free. The staff was friendly. The massage at the spa was inexpensive and great, what a sweet girl, couldn't really speak English, but she did a good job. No TV in the room if that matters to you, it's not really a big deal.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Try out a Balinese cooking class. I also went to a Cockfight at the local village, wild!

Hotel con encanto. Está a 5 minutos andando de la playa, tiene una piscina pequeñita con tumbonas para relajarse y un desayuno variadito y muy sabroso. Personal amable y dispuesto. Eso sí, lo mejor es darse una vuelta por la playa y alrededores para ver y comparar los precios de las excursiones y transportes antes de ir directamente al mostrador del hotel. Los puestos en la propia playa ofrecen precios un poco más caros que los que quedan en el par de calles adyacentes.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Lo peor fue el acoso de la caza al turista, ya que en octubre ya es temporada baja y éramos cuatro gatos, así que era un no parar todo el día de sacarnos a la gente de encima. Otra cosa es que cuando te abordan todo es amabilidad y buen rollo, y una vez que estás negociando ya tiene que ser lo que ellos quieran, cuando ellos quieran y en sus condiciones. Fue bastante agobiante, la verdad. Lo de los delfines está bien pero tampoco es para volverse loco, entre otras cosas porque hay cientos de barquitos alrededor, así que es como una feria. Algunos días no se ven; nosotros tuvimos suerte y vimos unos cuantos.

chambres déçevantes mais accueil agréable, la piscine est charmante malgré le fait qu'elle soit vite ombragée vue les arbres qui l'entoure ! comfort limite des chambres, il n'y a pas internet dans les chambres et la salle de bain laisse à désirer.. le genre d'hôtel où l'on ne s'éternise pas.. l'attraction principale reste les dauphins à voir tôt le matin ! et si on veut de l'intimité, il faudra choisir un autre hôtel vu que les salariés habitent en partie dans l'hôtel.. le spa n'est en réalité qu'une pièce sans porte qui n'inspire pas à la détente
