Large resort. Well designed. The staff are also very well trained and obliging.
Was not able to accomodate change of dates
My girlfriend and i decided to take a short trip to Bali for some R&R. We arrived at the Conrad and the view that met us was rather breath taking. The lobby expanded into the full view of the beach and the Ocean. The staff checked us in to our rooms while we we enjoying the view and welcome drink.
The rooms were very modern, clean and comfortable. We paid a little bit more to join the "club" and that was the best decision that we made. We could go to their club for drinks anytime and they had cocktail hour from 4-6Pm.
Overall the trip was a great one. Only downside was that they were not able to change out dates of check in as we wanted to shift check in dates two days later.

great service, wonderful view, great landscaping of the lawn
expensive pricing of the food, beach rather dirty
My first glimpse of the hotel was at the security guard. Excellent security and the courtsey of the guards made me feel very secure in view of the latest bombing incident at Jakarta. The reception was lovely and the service impeccable with first class service. Room service was excellent and the view from my room was lovely. I could watch the sun rise from my window and it holds fond memories for me. Room relatively large and the bath tub made me feel so decandent and terrible romantic. kudos, it's a lovely place to go for R and R.
Shopping Tip : lovely tiny shops with wonderful customer service within the hotel compound
