Stayed for just over a week. location was great.
right on the beach front and easy walking distance to the mant shops and eateries.Had a great time - even having a swim each night at about midnight.hired a boat from the shell seller
on the beach in front of the hotel for 500 000 rup and had a great time fishing (trolling) out in the bay.the views were worth the trip alone and caught 2 barracuda as a bonus.
if you havnt already done so make sure you go white water rafting - 250 000 rup worth every cent

A Wonderful Destination
The service was impeccable. Check in very smooth and our concerns of the first room allocated quickly addressed and we were moved to an area more comfortable to our needs. Wonderful breakfasts, situated on lovely beach close to all.

My best friend , and I on first venture together! This was our foray into the world of the 50+ years. The Kartika Plaza was a safe, convenient, friendly and very classy hotel to stay. The staff were great, the food whether breakfast, beside the pool or in-room dining delicious. I was so impressed we are heading back again in a couple of months and this time with my husband! Would recommend this hotel with no hesitation at all.
Restaurant Tip:
Wonderful Indian Restaurant at the entrance of the Dynasty called The Queen of India.

Kartika Plaza Hotel Bali review
Location, security,lobby construction and overall general layout

Because my wife and I have been to Bali many times and are aware of the heavy volume of traffic and street conditions,we originally thought of staying in Seminyak. We were glad we didn't as the traffic and general walking around wasn't good. The location of Kartika Plaza and its quality is just right. Close to the airport, good restaurants and shopping and certainly good value for money. If we ever return to Bali this is where we will stay.
Travel tip:
There are many money changers across the road from the hotel. Most are honest but be careful and recheck all the time. There are some who try and rip you off. If you cash in mulitiple of 100, it is much easier to calculate.

We absolutely love the Kartika, and after returning this week after coming here 6 years ago, we were even more pleasantly surprised this trip. The hotel was faultless and the service was amazing. We love the pathway that leads into Kuta, prior to this you had to go on the beach or tackle the busy footpath and traffic; this stroll into Kuta away from the traffic and noise makes the hotel even more desirable.
Restaurant Tip:
a short stroll into Kuta there is a restaurant called Kori in Poppies Lane - this is great value and a great atmosphere.

Best Bali Hotel
Hotel right on beach, v.good breakfast, very efficient and courteous staff. Comfortable rooms.

We were collected from Airport and whisked off to Hotel. Staff very friendly and efficient. Hotel is next door to best shoping in Kuta. The Hotel has very efficient security and made us feel very safe and looked after at all times. This appears to be a very well run Hotel and will certainly be visited by us in future trips to Bali.

Only 10 min from airport.Right on beach and the beach has been revamped with a boardwalk all the way to kuta.Try Rotiboy buns in shopping centre next door they are the best and also from bread talk the bread and butter pudding

We have eaten at many hotels all over the world and this was the best breakfast that we have ever eaten. The staff in every department of the hotel were wonderful, very accommodating with whatever we asked for. The pool was beautiful. With the hotel being on the beach made it extra special. Great holiday will definitely make a point to go back to this hotel again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't forget the spa, squash courts, tennis courts, gym etc. We only remembered them on our last day and they were great.

great hotel, worth the stay
The room was very comfortable, all the staff are very professional, and night security, make sure your very safe. The hotel is located enough distance away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta, which i enjoyed. The breakfast is amazing and you must have when you stay.

I only stayed at the Discovery Kartika hotel for 1 night, and i would definately stay here again. All the staff are very professional and very polite, in which you would expect this being a 5 Star hotel. I do recommend to stay here, and when i travel in future, i will stay here again.
Travel tip:
Book this hotel through the internet, because to stay here booking through the hotel is very expensive

Great value at Discovery Kartika Hotel

Discovery is centrally located in Kuta-walking distance to markets and malls. Beautiful pool scenery, on the beach. I have eaten at many breakfast buffets-hands down, this was the best one! A variety of traditional Balinese food combined with Western fare-(anything and everything you could think of-pancakes, waffles, crispy & soft bacon....the list is endless).
Careful with the concierge booking services for you-i.e.I had them book a cab for me to the airport-they wanted to charge me $76,000 Rupiah-luckily I knew it should be no more than $50,000 Rupiah (still quite a bit b/c if I had walked down to the street-probably could have gotten one for $10,000 Rupiah). I had to "bargain" with the concierge to bring her down to $50,000 Rupiah.
