I really enjoyed the hotel, the people were great the rooms very clean and the food was over the top. I went out to eat once outside the hotel and regreted it! To all looking for a hotel in Kuta, this is the place.
I thought the spa treatment could improve. Having it at the gym was not that sanitary and it was pricy.
- Shopping Tip : The discovery shopping mall is ajacent to the hotel, great shopping all around the hotel.

The kathika lived up to the Bali experience I fondly remembered from my previous visit to Bali over 15 years ago. Staff were always friendly and smiling and eager to help.
It was a beautifully laid out Balinese style garden with a superb lagoon style pool complete with a feature waterfall garden in the centre and the all important pool bar/ dining experience. Rooms were clean and well maintained, but a little tired, facilities were great with a wonderful spa service. great for families with kids and also for romantic couples with an easy 5 minute stroll to the Kuta markets and shopping within 50 metres away.

seating for breakfast was a little crowded together
- Shopping Tip : The nightlife at Kuta is around a 15minute walk away , so grab a bluebird taxi as they are really cheap

Discovery Kartika is definitely the place to stay in Bali. Location is great, close to the beach, mall, restaurants, and everything you need to do and go to, but away from the noise and crowd. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We lost a bag in the hotel and they found and returned it to us without any hassle. Overall, great experience, won't stay anywhere else.

Great spot close to shops , beach and airport
- Restaurant Tip : The concierge arranged a car to take us to a restaurant he recommended at Jimbaran Bay- the food , staff, scenery and transport was excellent and great value for money.
