Room size Quick check in Restaurant food

No bath Evening meal had limited choice

The Elephant Safari Park lodge in Bali was an interesting place to stay if you are interested in wildlife. The lodge itself is beautiful and the rooms well decorated and extremely clean. It was also very peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant sells extremely delicious food and the breakfast was fantastic. The evening meal was a little restrictive, with no vegetarian options, I would of referred to order off the lunchtime menu or have a buffet. We enjoyed all the activities relating to the elephants including bathing the elephant and feeding the babies. My overall impression of the elephants are they are well looked after, however I would like to see another form of tethering for the elephants other than chains, maybe enclosures.

It's a one-stop place, nice interaction with the elephants, worry-free atmosphere

There is a TV channel dedicated to explaining how the elephants are rescued. However, the gift shop offers ivory figurines for sale...

This is my second visit. The first time I was there with friends (between 30 and 35 years old). This second time I was there with my family. It is clean and up to the standards you expect given the price you pay. I recommend to stay one night and then move on to other parts of the island. It's a nice thing to do for grown ups and the little ones! The location might not seem convenient. However, it's close to rice terraces and the road is nice!

Beautiful surroundings, a worthwhile cause, and a fantastic stay in the lap of luxury - the style furnishings and food could not be faulted.

To be honest we KNOW the elephants had to be chained up at night BUT we did feel that some of the chains were so short that it prohibited the elephants lying down at night. At least that was our perception and it distressed us and the other guests.

You wouldn't think elephants could be romantic but they were at the Elephant Safari Lodge in Ubud, Bali. Thanks to the great conservation work of Nigel Morris it is possible to see these wonderful creatures up close whilst at the same time having a 5 str luxury stay in your own mod con villa.the highlight of the trip is 'booking' yoru own elephant to come and take you to dinner and then after a fantastic meal, plod home through the trees....a must for all romantic couples and families with small kids everywhere...

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Even if elephants don't do anything for you, getting close up and personal to these creatures is a real privilege with 5 star luxury thrown in for an economical price.

Great place for young ones.

Slightly secluded.

Park view recommended (we were upgraded). Comfortable, unique, awesome! Wonderful & friendly staff! Great personal service! All amenities. Access to the park, show, rides - bathing elephants - works out to be reasonable. Great spa! If you have kids - this is the place to be but just for one night.
