i booked the denpasar fave hotel purely because of it's location since i had some business in denpasar and wanted to avoid the traffic jams associated with driving from the kuta/legian area to the city.
the first night was terrible as i had a room facing one of the main streets of denpasar. the noise was so bad that i simply could not sleep. i went to reception the next morning and was given a different rooms which was great.
the rooms are functional and well maintained. 2 small bottles of water daily are much appreciated. there is a tv with a few international channels, as well as in room, complimentary, wifi access. however, there are no tea/coffee making facilities, nor a refrigerator. i only had breakfast once (out of a 6 night stay) at the attached chinese restaurant as it was pretty basic and i thought too expensive for what was on offer.
all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you like a cup of tea or coffee early in the morning you better bring your own supplies and a water heater - I travel with one of those old fashioned immersion heaters and a mug for boiling the water.

Placed in central of denpasar city. Easy to find this hotel. You will find many food store around the street near hotel. Just take awalk.

The hotel is ok, a bit worn down and definitely not sound proof. Someone thought it would be a good idea to put speakers in the hallways that started playing very loud music starting at about 6:30am. They advertise as having wifi and indovision but there were very few english channels, and no interesting ones, and the wifi did not work at all in the rooms and was very slow even in the lobby. The front desk staff were efficient but not friendly. I don't think I will be back to this hotel anytime soon.

There is a very nice indian restaurant just down the street

Great low cost hotel with the friendly hotel staff
Advanced escalator i ever seen before.

I very like this hotel because the staffs here were so friendly and smile to everyone. The escalator also very sophisticated and the wifi service also provided with free of charge. The cost also very affordable and cheaper. I will choose to stay again if i got the next trip to Bali in future.

You even can use the wifi service inside room with strong line. Some of the expensive hotels at Bali also didnt provide free charge of wifi.

this hotel is very good and highly recommended, because the price is competitive and you can get more that the price you paid.
it is managed by aston, proffesional staff here.
very good location, center of city and so many food around.
rooom very clean and have internet access.
I will go back to this hotel again when in Bali

Well it's true to get what you pay for. Not the greatest but to be fair to Fave Hotel we just spent 3 nights in a 5 star Villa in Ubud.

Hotel OK for few days in DPS center

Hotel is in good condition and clean. Except some details that need to be considered (I could not open my curtain, broken. TV offer very few channels (could not receive 3/4 of what is promised). Breakfast is simple but OK. Staff is nice and helpful.

Located in Denpasar this hotel is away from the touristy locations which is exactly why I love it. There's no drunk Aussies falling down the street, no pesky shop keepers trying to sell you something when you walk outside. The rooms are small and basic but if you're doing business like me, it doesn't really matter. Could benefit from a mini bar and fridge, but other than that it's good value accommodation.
Restaurant Tip:
Hotel is only a taxi from Legian which is worth it to visit Mozarella on Padma street. Best restaurant in Bali.
