- Beautiful villa's
- Nice swimming pool
- Good food
- Very friendly staff
- Spa is very expensive compared to other spa's in the area.
- Food and drinks are expensive.
- The hotel had difficulties in providing a decent baby cot
- 20 minutes (by car) to Ubud centre
Beautiful hotel/villas in a quiet but very beatiful scenery. Excellent service of the staff and they are very friendly.
The food is of good quality, although the price is relatively high.
The hotel had difficulties with providing a decent baby cot. We only managed to get a proper cot after two days and a few complaints.
The staff is attentive and are even preparing the villa for the night. We stayed in the Furama villa's with private pool.
The bed could be a bit better, very soft and not level.

We stayed for 6 nights in a deluxe pool villa it was
fantastic..great pool and outdoor gazebo which was completely private. The staff went out of their way to ensure our holiday was one to remember. Thank you to all at the Furama..we shall return.
Food was a little over priced within the hotel and the portions could have been a little larger...apart from that i would thoroughly recommend it.
We so enjoyed our stay at the Furama..the pool villas were great. The staff were very helpful and did all they could to ensure our stay was a special one. If you get the chance take advantage of the romantic dinner over looking the rice paddies it is $65 US each but really worth it! There is a free shuttle bus 3 times daily to Ubud so you can shop till you drop and travel back in style. Over-all i give the Furama a 9 out of 10.
Restaurant Tip : Try the romantic dinner...so worth it!

Staff were excellent. Restaurant very good. Rooms or "bungalows" are very private and spacious.
Cleanliness of our bungalow could have been drastically improved even though it all looks fine at first sight.
About 20 minutes by minibus from Ubud town.
The Furama Villas and Spa is a complex of private bungalows set out very attractively over a huge area. The open air foyer is impressive and clean. While our bungalow looked good and clean it turned out to be in need of a little more attention to detail which became more apparent the longer we were there. The gardens around the bungalow are very nice and the private pool was a nice feature but there were also plenty of spaces for the local insect population to get into the room, even when the doors were all shut. We had a very large beetle climbing up our mosquito net one night which wasn't very pleasant. The general feel of our bungalow was that it could do with a really good and proper cleaning. The staff were excellent and really couldn't do enough for us. They were faultless and always greeted us with a smile and a conversation and they were also extremely helpful when required. The staff are the best thing about the Furama.
Shopping Tip : There is an artists co-op nearby which is well worth a visit. There is a huge selection of paintings for sale which cater for all tastes. 65% of the cost of a painting goes to the artist while the remainder goes to the co-op which provides space and materials for the artists. Definitely a must-see.

Very great villa! I like the decoration style, the glass wall, the in house lily pool, that's a so wonderful place and the staff are very friendly, always say hello! And, free internet
This is the last villa we lived in our 10days holiday, but it's the best one we ever lived, we almost fell in love with it, and when the time to say goodbye, we were so unwilling, even now we still missed it, and if we have chance we will definitely go back there. This villa makes our honeymoon trip unforgettable! We are so lucky to making our decision to living there! Great villa with great staff!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The villa has shuttle bus to Ubud town many times a day-very convenient!

Nice environment surrounding and facilities in the villa were great. I like the big bath tub very much. The chef is the restaurant also did a great job on all the foods.
The villa should provided with bath salt and some other aroma bath gel since it has such a nice bath tub.
For overall, Furama provides a great environment and friendly staff for their customer. The actual villa look much better compare to the photo posted on Furama website. Maybe Furama should consider a 360deg view of the villa to provide visitor a clearer view of the environment. Everything there are within acceptable price except the massage price are way too high. In conclusion, i love Furama very much and definitely will go again.
Hotel Feature Tip : All furniture in the villa are nice, i took a lot of photo for my wife. Good place for a studio shot of portrait.

The hotel is situated amid the greenery rice field. Quiet and fresh environment.
The hotel is away from Ubud. Relatively time consuming to go to city
If you want conveniency, you should not choose this hotel as the location is relatively remote. You need to rely on shuttle bus to go to Ubud. However, the hotel environmnet is very nice. So it will be a good choice if you want a quiet, romantic and relax experience. You can hear a lot of birds singng in the morning. The room is decently nice.

The hotel looks better than its pictures. We shared the 70-meter pool with other villas and it is amazing. The villa looks decent and edged. It is not expensive at all.
The air con is not that strong. The villa is a bit away from the central UBUD. It takes 20 mins or so to commute in between.
I will highly recommend the place. I didn't see too many comments about the villa before i booked it and therefore i didn't have too much expectation. However it turned out to be very good. The staff are very nice. Too bad we only stayed for one night. If I go to UBUD again i will choose to stay at this villa.

Good service, clean & well maintain villas.
Location is not too ideal, it's 20 min from monkey forest street (Ubud town).
The hotel staff are very prompt to your request or queries & they are very well mannered. Their security is also very tight. They will check all the cars that go in to their hotel compound. The 1 thing that's not so good is the location of the hotel. It's 20 min fr town. however, it's still depend on your purpose of the stay. Like us, we were there to relax. So, we stay in most of our time.
Hotel Feature Tip : Order the b/fast to your villa (no additional charge). Have the massage @ the Gazebo then only have b/fast. After that go for a swim & dip in the tub. This is the best routine.

270 square meter for your own. Located between rice fields. Free shuttle.
Aged villas. Shuttle to Ubud city takes 20 min. Spa and restaurant are quite expensive.
The very friendly and polite employees, the villa with a nice garden and your own pool make you feel as if you are the only guest on premise.
The location between the rice fields is great but makes you aware of the fact that you are a capitalistic traveler in a poor country. It is a perfect starting point for a walk through the countryside of Bali.
Hotel Feature Tip : Perfect location for honeymooners.

Personal plunge pool and mini villa. Outdoor shower, large tub + bathroom and bedroom. Friendly staff and remote location.
Remote location and pricing of food and spa packages. Close proximity of other villas.
My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to spend a few days to read and sit by the pool. This place fulfilled that objective. The staff were friendly and always tried to do their best. The villa design was fantastic however each villa was placed too closely together.
We love/hate the remote location. It takes 20 minutes to get into the Ubud town center and shuttles are available every two hours. But you have to remember to book your spot or else you may be stuck at the villa paying too much for lunch or dinner. However breakfast is wonderful with many choices and eggs cooked to order. The view from the breakfast terrace is picture perfect.
It is a good to place to hid from the Bali masses. I just wish the food was more reasonably priced.

- Great value for money
- Very good service
- Large room, nice bathroom and gardern + pool
- A bit out of town (but the free shuttle service is good)
- Under rennovation in April 2008
We highly recommend this hotel for a trip to Ubud. Although a bit out of town, the service and the actual villa more than makes up for the location.
Our villa had a lovely pool, garden, very clean and the staff excellent. Very friendly and great service.
The food is not great at the hotel but this is as you would expect in most Hotel restaurant similar to this. Besides, there are many options in the central of Ubud that you'll be crazy not to try them all (We love Lamak).
The staff are very helpful and can arrange trip everywhere for you (we had our guide who took us on the trip himself for a great price - much cheaper than hotel price).
Would recommend this as a honey moon location or romantic get away. Good for a family holiday as well.
