Very comfy rooms, great breakfast, nice pool... great value for money! A bit far away from shops/restaurants, no chaise lounges on the beach and couldn't take pool towels there My husband and I stayed at Grand Balisani for 4 nights and we would definitely come back! Price/performace, definitely a winner. The hotel is remodeled so facilites are very modern and look great (only except for the corridors, but who lingers around hotel corridors in Bali?). The pool was very nice and clean, chairs were plentiful, and breakfast was abundant and tasty.
The location is not right in the middle of things, but you can take a 10-min cab to Seminyak for about $2 or walk along the beach for a half hour and you're there.
We had a few sandwiches/desserts at the restaurant too, and the food was pretty good.
Overall, we thought it was a great choice! As other reviewers mentioned, the towels were not the fluffiest and maybe the marmalade was not Hero, but you can't expect the Marriott right?
Travel tip : The hotel charges one-way airport transfers at $8 per person and they told us that a meter taxi would cost $12-15... not true! Just order the meter taxi for about $8 total

Friendly staff, next to beach, excellent massages No wholemeal bread at breakfast, bats in the air conditioning The Balisani suites hotel was a wonderful choice. It wasn't that child friendly, on the web it mentioned that there was a children's playground but when we got there, there wasn't one. There were strange noises in the air conditioning at night, may have been bats, it sounded like there was one in my room one night so I moved rooms. The one staff member was fantastic with children. He really made our holiday as my daughter loved playing with him.

Position, style, grounds. We went to Bali for a restful break and that is just what we found at this hotel. The setting was perfect for what we wanted, being in North Seminyak and away from the bustle of Kuta. The beach was quiet and clean which gave us the opportunity of some enjoyable interaction with some of the locals as they went about their business. The hotel itself had a quiet friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed the traditional Bali night at the hotel with traditional dancing, and found the food to be excellent. As older professional people looking for relaxation this was perfect, however I could imagine this may not be for young people looking for the excitement of the Kuta night life as it is a bit out of the way.
Restaurant Tip : Just outside the gates there are two restaurants that we were really impressed with (sorry I cant recall the names but you cant miss them).
