Balisani Hotel

We had a nice big room with ocean views. Our only complaints would be that the size of the pool & the condition of it was very poor for a 4 star hotel. Tiles needed replacing, the pool tiles beneath the water needed a good clean & the pool itself is too small for such a large hotel. There were not enough sun beds around the pool & staff don't monitor the pool to check that guests are not leaving their towels on the sun beds to reserve them. We often had to sit on the floor or grass even though there were many 'unused' beds because guests were reserving them. Other hotels do not allow this practice. If you are going to allow people to reserve beds then you need to make sure that you have enough beds for all guests. The other complaint was the shuttle service. There needs to be at least 1more shuttle services between 3pm & 8pm. the staff were friendly & helpful. The breakfast was delish!

This is our third stay at this hotel. As in the past we enjoyed our daily breakfast at the hotel which offered a variety of items which appeal to the cosmopolitan guests.
We recommend this hotel to the honeymooners and young people who love the beach, and also the elders like us who want to relax in quiet and comfortable room.

An enjoyable quiet stay in North Seminyak. The busy narrow road leading out of the hotel to the shops/warongs is unsafe for pedestrians due to the open stormwater drains which are stagnant and littered with rubbish.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walk along the beach to Legian and Kuta or north to Caguu Beach.

for a 4 day mini break away from the hustle and bustle of kuta and seminyak this is the ideal place to stay. located right on the beach with only a small amount of rooms you never felt overcrowded. the friendly and obliging staff made this a superb and restful staystaff

What to say????
The massage center was rely nice.

The pool facilities are a disaster: meaning 20 beach beds and 150 guests does not work. Food is ok, but the staff treats you more like you are there hommie than as the guest. I would not ever recommend this hotel to anyone.

although this holiday started off badly, no hotel pick-up although it had been booked, the greeting and friendliness of staff helped to ease the situation. Great location for beach and good access to main roads for sight seeing. Rooms are in need of an up date but comfortable, breakfast was excellent, bar staff and meals very good

Be careful with your rooms allocation

Ended up having a good stay here but we weren’t too with our room allocation at first. After booking and paying quite in advance our group of 8 turned up and was shown to our rooms which were a downgrade from what we booked and paid for. They had over booked the hotel and we were shown in very small fine print that they state “Rooms are subject to availability on your day of arrival” but there was no offer to refund any of our money since we paid for a more expensive room. After quite some time of toing and froing and a lot of unacceptable offers we were upgraded to the villas which I would definitely recommend to anyone who stays there. After the rooms were all sorted out we enjoyed our stay, the staff were very approachable and friendly, the rooms were nice and clean and it was nice to be a little way out of the busyness of Kuta and Legian. The pool is great.
Restaurant Tip:
La Luciola is a wonderful restaurant in Seminyak to visit if your happy paying a little more for a great meal.

We loved the hotel. My husband had a broken ankle and we knew ffrom reviews that it was a good way out from night life, shopping which we were happy with. Because of its location there was no hassels with traders annoying you from the beach etc. The breakfast was good. The evening events were good also but very expensive if you had a couple of beers. We only went to one and ir cost in excess with 5 beers for 2 of us!! We also noticed that the nightly stuff was pretty empty. If the prices were better they would get a lot more people to attend as the entertainment and food was great.There are some lovely casual eating places if you turn left on the beach about 50 metres!! All the staff were great and friendly. It always amazes me how many people get up and put towels on pool lounges and have the nect to turn uo at mid day for an hour. Sad people really!! lovely gardens.
Restaurant Tip:
Turn left at the beach and walk for beautiful sunset dinner on the beach. Turn right on the beach for cool beer during the day.

Lovely room - spacious and very comfortable. Great to be so near to the beach

The staff were friendly and efficient, and the location was lovely although quite a long way from Seminyak shops and restaurants. I would still recommend it as a good place to stay if you want to be by the beach, and if you want a location where you can relax and unwind.
