A Nice Stay
Nice pool next to the beach, nice size rooms, friendly and accomodating staff.
8
This was a nice resort with a very friendly and accomodating staff. I called the reception because I had ants in my room. They promptly sent someone to spray. The problem is the ants were coming in off the balcony throgh the balcony doors. So we had to spray everyday. Also, I came down with travelers sickness and they sent me some immodium pills. Very nice of them to do that. The pool was large enough and very clean. It also has a very nice swim up pool bar. All in all a very nice and relaxing place.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a warung next to the hotel gate that serves decent set meals.

Bali stay 2010, A lesson to be learned
Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Cooking class was one of our high lights.
4.7
Whilst we enjoyed our Holiday, for the price we paid per night, we had expected the Hotel to be of a much higher standard. The gardens were beautiful but the buildings and the pool area needed to be renovated. As the staff were exceptional, it is Management that need to be held accountable for the condition of the Hotel and should use some of the money that customers pay to up grade the hotel.

Had a great stay there. would return. The place was clean and great design. the sea view room did not match up to the glamour of the photo but was clean.
great breakfast and good prices at restaurant.
Travel tip:
there is a transport company just outside the hotel.
go there if you want to just relax for sometime.

Excellent Value
Beyond Kuta, Seminyak, Legian & Oberoi, so much quieter.
9.3
The hotel is a little dated but spotless. Very, very pleasant stay. It's right on the beach but still has a fairly substancial pool. Breakfast was good with a great view over the ocean. Service & staff were impeccable. The rooms were very comfortable & again very clean. The hotel is fantastic value for money as long as you book online, the walk in rack rate was over double the online rate.
Restaurant Tip:
Eat at Biku on Jl. Petitenget, cool little restaurant, great food, little bookshop & the furniture is made out of recycled ships, a lot of the furniture has the old paint on.

i walked into the hotel & asked for the rates & the cheapest was double the rate being asked by agoda, how does that work? very nice hotel, a little dated but exceptional value for money at agoda's rate. good breakfast with an exceptional view. far enough out of town for a relaxing stay.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Great bar in the pool

Balisani pretty good
Very quaint and atmospheric, also very cheap
9.7
The Balaisani was more than I expected. For the grand sum of around fifty US I experienced close to five star facilities and service. The room was cleaned and sheets changed diligently, the room itself was comfortable and the pool was pleasant and set by the sea. Location was quiet and security good. The only con was that the hotel is set away from the action, which could be a pro depending on your point of view. They put on a good breakfast too (real bacon).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
A small transport company up the road will take you into town or anywhere for a reasonable, if you negotiate, price,

Great pool, not too big and not too small. Great Bathrooms, best I've ever had in Bali. Staff were helpful and friendly. Had some very cheap restaurants in walking distance of the hotel if you didn't want to eat hotel food all the time. The shuttle into Seminyak and Kuta was great. A very relaxing location. Not super great for kids as not much to do unless you take a cab somewhere. My daughter enjoyed the swimming pool. We stayed in the deluxe seaview room on the 4th floor which had a nice view of the ocean. I recommend room 413 as the view looked really nice from that room.

I enjoyed the hotel and would go back as it was away from the hussle and buslte of Kuta and Seminyak. It is not far from Tanahlot temple. 20 minute Taxi ride so well worth the trip. The markets at the temple were cheaper than anywhere else. You could get bintang tank tops for between 12,000-15,000 rupees so even cheaper than Kuta. The drive to the temple through the rice fields was lovely. The breakfast at the hotel was more than adequate but not as great as the big 5 star hotels. but I would have an omelette, toast, and fruit. The danishes were nice also. They made my daughter pancakes each day. The hot food didn't really vary but that didn't worry me as I never eat that sort of stuff anyways. The view of the hotel over the beach was really lovely. Down side is that the beach next to it is quite dirty but there seems to be a new hotel being built in that spot so I think that will fix that. As you face the beach and walk left along the path there is a restaurant with great cheap food. A local family owns it. It was nice to eat there as the sea breeze was very cooling.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Just outside the main entrance and around the corner are some young men who are prepared to drive you anywhere for cheaper than the hotel. We did an 8 hour tour whereever we wanted to go for 450, 000 rupees which is around 55 dollars. I always like to share my money with the locals also and not just the hotel. He took us to the temple. He then took us to Jimbaran Bay for a seafood lunch. It was really the best meal I have every had in Bali. The fish was cooked beautifully and you pick the fish you want to eat. My husband, myself and my daughter shared a 0.9 kg Pink Snapper, it came with rice, vegetables, etc.

Pretty much like paradise
Good Price
Good location.
Good pool and beach.
9.7
This is a very good hotel. The breakfasts were great and the room was fine. The staff was very efficient. When we went to breakfast we would find that they had finished cleaning up our room when we returned.
Kuta is not too far away. And a trip to Ubud is only about an hour and twenty minutes away. We very much enjoyed the weather and the shopping. It is true that the traffic in Bali moves very slowly, but this is not the fault of the hotel. Everyone we met in Bali was agreeable and hospitable.
