GREAT - FABULOUS - BEAUTIFUL
this resort is right on the water with a great pool, happy hour and fabulous sunsets.

this was a great internet find for us. after 4 days in kuta, this was a nice piece of heaven right on the beach!! pretty friendly front desk, but print your voucher, if you can, before you arrive. we didn't and it seemed to cause some confusion. the food was good and their complimentary buffet breakfast was very good. i would definately recommend the Balisani and do plan on returning myself, hopefully next year!!
Restaurant Tip:
nice warung down the beach to the left, and cold beer to the right!!! very convenient but far from town....

Very impressive looking. Pool size great, surrounding area also very roomy.

Wonderful views of the beach and the sunset. Very comfortable rooms although airconditioning a little noisy, we overlooked that. Had a fantastic breakfast with a huge variety to suit people from all around the world. A bit far out of Seminyak and not much in close proximity to the hotel to explore, need a driver everywhere you went. Would probably recommend for middle to older age group.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Not far from the Hotel is an area just outside of Seminyak with great eating places. It off the road that leads to the hotel

This is a very quiet hotel but still about 10mn journey in a taxi to Seminiak main shopping road, bars and restaurant, 30mn walk on the beack to the famous and amazing Ku De Ta. Lovely swmimming pool by the beach. Few Cabana restaurants on the beach around the hotel for those who do not want to have their lunch at the hotel. Rooms are in the Balinesy rustic style, large and clean and breakfast is nice.
Rooms are badly isolated against noise. You feel like you are in your neighbors'room. Adding the roosters who start singing at 4am and the dogs barkings, this is not the place to catch up with your sleep.

Grand Balisani Suites
Quite area of Seminyak if you like to get away. You will need to take a cab every time to go any where. Good value really for what you pay.

Only stayed two nights. First night we got in really late around 12.30am. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was very musty smelling, got a bit better by the second night. Nice size bathroom but lighting quite dark. Beds pillow average. For what you pay it is a good value hotel, if you want peace and quiet this is the place as you can't really walk to any shopping,cafes or bars however taxi's are cheap.
Nightlife Tip:
Seminyak is a quick taxi trip, this area has the best restaurants and bars. Great boutique shopping here and spa's.

Great location on the beach, friendly staff, excellent clean facilities and beautiful surroundings, fantastic food, good sized clean rooms, photographs on website are not at all deceiving.

PLEASE NOTE: Agoda does not specify room type when processing requests, therefore Balisani booked us in a twin room instead of king. Staff at the hotel were very understanding and were willing to fix this as soon as a king room was available. To avoid this, ensure you request for a king bed in the notes section when booking.
Hotel is in a great location, away from busy kuta but still within reasonable travelling distance and there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel. Staff are very friendly and willing to help in any way possible. Our toilet blocked up a few times during our stay, but each time housekeeping had it fixed within minutes (try double flushing if you have this problem). Rooms were generally very clean and housekeeping were very efficient. The traditional Balinese food served in the restaurant was amazing and the service was second to none! We will be staying here again!
Restaurant Tip:
Must try the Ayam Panggang Bumbu Bali (marinated chicken with balinese spices) from the hotel menu - I could eat it forever!

It was great being right on the beach. The rooms were comfortable. The pool was lovely but not to big. The Breakfast was good. The staff were all very polite and helpful. Overall this an excellent hotel.

In one word excellent!
Advantages are the personal service, quality of food, accomodation and the shuttle bus between the hotel and city centre of Ubud.

We had a wonderful stay at the Komaneka. The personal service was great! They arranged our breakfast earlier than normal so we could go on a a day trip with breakfast. They even give us the coice of having breakfast or a lunch box. Furthermore the rooms are well equipped and radiate a warm and comfortable atmosphere. If you would go to Ubud and like a cosy and calm surrounding, after a day of travelling or just wlaking trough town this is the place to be.

It was great being right on the beach. The rooms were comfortable and the gardens were gorgeous. The pool was lovely. The food was fantastic and very reasonably price (except the special nights they put on). The staff were all very polite and helpful. My only complaints were the shower was not 100% clean, the fridge didn't work very well and the airconditioner was a bit noisy. Overall we really enjoyed the hotel.

This is a medium-size hotel compound that is situated 15 minutes from the Denpasar Airport on the Indian Ocean. It is a quiet relaxing retreat far removed from the bustle of touristic activities found in Kuta and further south. The architectural design of the several two-story hote buildings and the layout of the grounds preserves an Indonesian style of past. Suites are both spaceous and sumptuous. This is a full service hotel but its proximity to Seminyac affords the option of dining out at European class restaurants. Service is better than outstanding and pricing is entirely reasonable.
