Nice and clean hotel. Friendly staff. Very nice location right in front of the Kuta beach.
They offered a lot of complimentary things that were not advertised or part of our package like mini dinner, beer & a complimentary sunset picture. It was a pleasant surprise.
The sunset photographer was very friendly and not pushy about selling me add-ons.
Would recommend to everybody.

Great Hotel, great swim up bar
Great pool area including swim up bar, really nice rooms and pretty garden, cable tv lots of channels

I recently stayed with my friend and we liked the hotel but we found the location a bit annoying as it was a one way road out the front so on the few days it was raining we had to get a taxi all the way around the block. If you are walking it is fine. Take poppies lane to get to good restaurants and nightlife. The rooms were nice, good size and clean but found the bed to be a bit hard. Check out the tequila bar out the front of the hotel at night it has a good band which will take song requests and also has a fire/dancers show. You can charge drinks to your room. The swim up bar is great but not much shade so be careful if you get drunk all day you might be sunburnt like me :) If you feel like room service the aussie burger was good :)

perfect location, old world balinese

We thoroughly enjoyed the location of this hotel especially being able to cross the road and you are at the beach, so ideal for surfing. There is a fabulous new shopping centre right next door, although food here can be expensive. There are many restaurants within walking distance,so many in fact we didn't get to try them all. Also Burger King, KFC and Macdonalds close by. Plenty of fabulous shops and although lots of night life right outside the noise did not bother us in the room. This hotel is one of the older Balinese style and the rooms are very large. There is a good swimming pool with swim up bar. The staff is very friendly and they offered us 2 free Bintang per day, 1 free massage, 1 free banana boat ride, 1 free photo on the beach at sunset and 2 free items washed at the laundry each day. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Sometimes the hot water takes a while to come through so just turn on the shower about 3-5 minutes before you want it.

terrible place i was asked to pay os bond on arrival,,,,food left outside rooms for hours, evry thing was done on the cheap , dont stay here

I didn't really like my stay. The staff was not helpful. There english was not very good. The room was fine but nothing to write home about. Every time I went to the front desk to ask for help with something I came away frustrated and disappointed in the survice. Hoping I didn't have to go back and ask for help again. The traffic on this street is almost unbearable. You can't take a walk with out every third person honking at you or trying to sell you something. Not a very nice place to take a walk. The beach is ok. There is a Hard Rock Cafe about 3 blocks from the hotel. Shopping is not fun you feel like you are getting ripped off for everything and the more I looked the more I found that to be true.

Old grand hotel with lovely gardens

This was the second time I stayed at this hotel. The standard room with no balcony was disappointing as basically you were confined to your room. The bathroom is large and clean but the room is getting tired and looks worn out.
Cheap hotel with some free actitviteis and food and drinks ( with constraints) but breakfast is not included. Looking for a cheap basic room and then this is the palce to stay but no luxury or comfort.
Shopping Tip:
Walk through the large shopping centre which backs onto Poppies lane 2 . Great batering
