bad service, bad hotel, dirty, big room

We were very disappointed with the service we waited more than 30 minutes after 14.00 to get our room ready, lobby so dirty, also the hallway n the stairs, a lot of mosquitoes, no AC in the lobby. We must pay for gala dinner that very disapointing, we were late so all the food was gone, that means that the food not enough, the taste of the food was horrible and the food wasn't worth for IDR 1,3M for one person,not friendly staffs,bad experienced. The good things they gave vouchers for dinner n freee beers for 2, and voucher for banana boat(but the staff didn't explain to us that banana boat voucher could be used by follow bus that provided by the hotel so we missed the information. The bathroom at the pool in the poor condition, small,old,the water flow so little, bad...bad...bad...

the beach is just across the road. the beach maybe the best in bali, just more people than nusa dua's beach. the room is not big, but clean without any bad smell. wifi is available in the room.

I stayed in the garden villa. Big room,comfortable bed and large bathroom. I was greeted very well by the front desk staff. My stay here was very enjoyable. The pool was clean and plenty of chairs when I was there. I did not have breakfast included in my room however they did include free dinner (small set dish) and two half pints of beer. This was a nice surprise. I was there during New Years so maybe it was a special promotion.

Ideal Location but getting old

This hotel is in an ideal position for those wishing to take in all that the Kuta and Legian regions have to offer. Opposite the beach, next to the new Beachwalk shopping Centre, a fifteen minute walk to central Kuta and also to the restaraunt-nightclub scene of Legian St. The hotel itself is showing its age, and the pool can be a bit too warm at times. i did have trouble with hot water and water pressure in the shower, however the room was a good size and comfortable. Excellent air conditining and bar fridge kept drinks extrememly cold (something i have struggled with in Bali)

This hotel gives good value for money. You have a lot of amenities at a decent cost. The rooms are quite large and clean, with a large bathroom. Just across from the beach and close to shopping! The restaurant was just adequate, nothing special. They lure with a 'free' meal, a small sample, then you order anyway for a meal. Don't fall for it, there are better restaurants in the area.

food was disappointing and over priced, drinks over priced, water pressure for shower non existent and only hot if your lucky (and willing to run water for 15mins), constantly noisy, very difficult to communicate with front of house staff. booked transport to leave with the concierge but they failed to contact and arrange a driver (particularly concerning as it was ny eve).
staff friendly in general and cleaners lovely.
had dinner included in our stay but the meals were laughable - ie. cheese sandwich - 2 pieces of bread with a slice of cheese between..
Restaurant Tip:
Eat elsewhere - lots of choice available nearby.

We stayed in both upper and lower floor, lower is preferred as it has bigger bathroom and less noise from outside the hotel.
2 minutes to the beach and a great pool with shallow corner for the kids and a sunken bar.
Food from the hotel restaurant is good tasting, however a bit overpriced. The shopping mall next door has many restaurants though that offers many options, all from Domino's to Tony Roma's. Good upper end shopping as well.
The rooms are somewhat dated but it is weighed up by all other positive aspects of the experience. Free food voucher every day, fixed meals but anyway a nice guesture. Two free beers per day is also nice at the poolbar.. The simple fact that the rooms are supplied with two umbrellas is much appreciated duiring rainy days.
Note; during the holidays the hotel is swarmed by partying teenagers.
