Grand Mirage Resort Bali Info

Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, and overlooking the sand beach and crystal clear water, Grand Mirage Resort provides guests with a refreshing stay. Located at the tip of Nusa Dua beach, the resort prjects an off the beaten track atmosphere. Not too far from the resort are the famous cliffs of Uluwatu. A short drive away and is the shopping mecca of Kuta. Further a field there is volcanoes, rivers, wildlife, and a thousand other places of interest, not to mention temple ceremonies. The Grand Mirage Resort offers activities, entertainment and sport without formality, in an exotic tropical setting with an almost unlimited choice of leisure activities.

Great Landscaping, good size swimming pool and close proximity to the beach.

Their need to swipe a guest's credit card for security deposit when other hotels are not doing this. Coffee house staff needs to be more friendly.

Wonderful Resort Hotel with great landscaping. The room assigned to us was comfortable and clean. The swimming pool is unique as certain parts were 2.2 metres deep. Access to the beach was really easy as it was quite near to our room. The down side is the sea was quite choppy and the waters were quite dirty so we couldn't really play or swim in it. The coffee house staff should be given more guidance in the art of "service with a smile". The one thing I find most disturbing about this Hotel (sadly) is their practice of swiping my credit credit for security deposit purpose, even after showing them my Agoda voucher. I have never had to do this at all other hotels that I have booked through Agoda website. A good example of this is at the Bali Dynasty Hotel in Kuta where I stayed for 2 nights, after checking out from Grand Mirage Hotel. At Bali Dynasty they never ask to swipe my credit card, all I had to do there was show them my Agoda voucher.

Private beach, tranquil and big pool.

Breakfast menu very limited, pool should come with shades / cover (at least for kids pool),

place is ok. it is a distance away from the hustle and bustle of city life. the roadside shops are quite convenient with mcd and kfc is just a drive away (for kids). beach full of activities. there are para-sailing, jet ski, protected area for swimming too. be careful if you trying out the jet ski. marine traffic quite high. however, room service to be improved. need a bit more variety and longer hour of service.

It seems to stay in heaven when I moved from a ugly hotel in Kuta! This hotel is totally worth the class of 4.5 stars. Room is very clean with luxury design. Every room has balcony in which I can sit there and see the sunset. There are a lot of chairs belong to hotel which can be used near private beach. The swimming pools are also excellent. They lend free towel for guest also.

Restaurant Tip : opposite the hotel, there are 2 restaurants which are good especially the one next to herbal massage small salon.
