expensive hotel for only private beach & pool

a big and old hotel, first time we thaught that in this hotel we can get thalasso for free..but turn out that we must pay every facilities in this hotel ( massage,karaoke, thalasso, etc).all facilities must pay except for private beach & swimming pool. the room is big enough for 4 people, we choose singaraja room, before see the room, bellboy said that this hotel had renovated 1 year ago. I expect more, but when I see it, feel not change too much,still look old for me.I advice to couple or family who love to spent days in hotel, without go play at outside its good for you. because this area only near with tanjung benoa beach. dont have shopping street or pub around.
Shopping Tip:
go to sukowati market if you want buy some souvenir. they sell many kind of stuff and they offer the cheapest price for local people. in other place they up so much for foreign people. Try to bargain till 3 or 4 US dollar for each stuff.

After check out we went around Bali realizing that my girlfriend lost her watch and pair of earrings. I called the hotel to tell them that we left something. But sadly their was no watch and pair of earrings found in the drawer where my girlfriend put her things.

Luxorious resort, but careless with the higienity

May be it was, accidently. But anyway, when we were there the higienity was not well maintained.
Too bad to the five stars hotel.
The management gave us compensation, but still can't cure the trauma about bad higienity.
Hotel Feature Tip:
everything is charged, so be prepared.

Breakfast the highlight of our stay

Wish it could be positive, but unfortunately was our least favourite stay. When checking in we had asked for a double room but instead were suprised with a twin room. The hotel looks its age, staff just did not come across as friendly as our other places of stay. The shower in the room kept over-flowing, bad drainage. The chairs at the beach were taken up very early, so if you slept in no beach chair for you. The beach was not as pretty as people have said and is full of beach activities. Not a place for quiet time. Tried to have a drink at one of the bars at the hotel, not very nice left them after two sips. One thing to look forward to was breakfast...

hotel is ideally located bear the beach. the vivo lounge bar is excellent.DJ plays lovely music. excellent hotel.

night life at this hotel is excellent.

Nice hotel with beautiful beach
good hospitality, we're upgraded to ocean view room which had great relaxing view

overall it is a good hotel with delicious breakfast,
but if you want cheap food i think you won't find it here or nearby.
the only con is the pool for kids is too deep for under 2 year old
Restaurant Tip:
there's famous restaurant nearby :bumbu bali, but quite expensive too

we stayed 2 days and was lots of fun, great pool, lots of options and good restaurants. the friendly stuff upgrade us because they didnt have a double bed, so we got a junior suite with ocean views! great!

location awesome, resort is run down
The Golf Course and surrounding views

Brilliant layout for the golf course, wonderful setting to play a round, Resort and rooms are 35 years old and in desperate need of renovations which I believe is happening soon.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Great place to play golf, accommodation, meals are lacking the quality of the golf course, but its a must play for any golfer, the scenery whilst playing is simply stunning.
