Great room, super location, sufficient pool

very nice room. lots of places to eat nearby. mozarellas to the left. to the right us bubba gumps, blue finn, asian, greek, vietnamese. lots of shopping & beauty salons too.
staff were very friendly & helpful.
pool was lovely.
my view from room was terrible, overlooked an empty lot full of rubbish - but that was okay, i just left the curtains closed.
i like the tuban area, not quiet as pushy as kuta.
10 minutes walk away is 'kuta theatre', upstairs next ro kua station hotel, great nagic show performed here 6 days a week at 8pm (not wed), only ) $10.
Restaurant Tip:
Mozarellas (walk iut of the hotel,turn left & walk for a coupke of minutes, its on your left). Beautiful Restaurant.

After staying for 3 days in tranquil Ubud, we moved here. It was a fantastic stay. The staff is also quite friendly.
The hotel is new, so no 'ickiness' that my kids feared. They serve the breakfast in two floors, and since we stay in 2nd floor we could just zoom out of the room and walk without bothering how we look, haha.
The swimming pool is also lovely, my kids spent so many hours there whenever we're not out and about.
Definitely will stay here again if we're going to Bali.

It is perfect for the price i spend for the room.
Two things that i don't like about Grand Whiz are limited parking space and lack of knowledge about attraction in Bali.

Hotel with Great Location and Good Entertainment

This was my second stay in Harris.
I like this hotel as it has a clean spacious room in a great location just across Kuta Beach.
New Mal, Beach Walk is just 30 steps away from the hotel.
But what I really like is the kids entertainment. THe hotel as an entertainment / games schedule which kids can participate.
People are also friendly.
The only negative point was that on my last day staying, there was fire alarm ringing at 4am. We tried to call reception but no answers. The only info is from engineering that doing patrol to check. There was no firm answer on what happened which make us nervous.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you are traveller with young kids, make sure you check on the hotel entertainment / games schedule for your kids

Walking distance to nearby mall, and all the shops. Also close to the airport.

fortunately we booked 2 rooms since we're travelling with kids. our rooms is right in front of swimming pool, the pool is great. the hotel is more suitable for singles or couples, not for family with young children since the room is small, with the luggage and everything, make the room even cramped and we hardly can move about. for transit hotel is also suitable, since near to the airport.
