Lots of hawkers seeking your business nearby (beach, street, etc.), which can irritate you if you don't like to be bothered.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walk to nearby art market (about 15 minute walk north) for some authentic Balinese experience

- Restaurant Tip : Do not eat at the warung across the road from the hotel; the food is not good and they miscalculated the bill. Italian restaurant at the entrance of the hotel looks very nice, chef is Italian. Drink at the Pavilion Hotel, north of Griya Santrian in the evening is perfect, as the hotel is secluded.

Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff at this delightful Hotel. We shall not hesitate to book this great spot next trip to Bali.
- Shopping Tip : Great tailor Ida at 'Larisso' at Danau Toba St, 1 Sanur which is about 20 minutes walk from the hotel. Go left along the beach road past markets then turn left go towards main road and he is on the corner of main road as you head back to hotel. He was excellent and delivered to our hotel.
