I have greater expectation for this hotel as per its brand but unfortunately, the standards is only up to 3stars. But I am lucky to get cheap rate via AGoda so...its not that bad.
We arrived at 7pm and the checkin took a very loooong time. It was terribly hot in the reception area. It is like in the sauna room. I already emailed to HR hotel stating that I will be travelling with 3 kids and 1 infant but at first the staff insists to charge me another IDR150,000. After he did some checking with the staff who deals with my reservation, he let me checkin without extra charge.
The room smells dampy, wet cloth...and the tiles is very slippery. I want to call the housekeeping to mop my room but my husband insists as he needs a sleep after a very tiring day.
Bed condition is good. Not too soft and not too hard.
However, the freeform swimming pool is the best. Its endless. There is so many spot to relax and chill. It is also kids friendly.
Hotel is very near to shops, eateries such as Pizza Hut(halal for muslims), KFC and Mc Donalds.
Beach is just a stone away. Shopping at this area, quite expensive. Better go to Krishna.

Having stayed previously at the Hard Rock Hotel in Penang I had to try out the Bali partner and was suitably impressed. We had a suite room on the pools edge so certainly paid for the privilege but the attention received from the staff, complimentary chocolates, wine etc. made us feel like royalty, at least for a few days anyway. Well recommended..
