A great place for young families

We had a fantastic stay as the location was awesome and the kids loved the pool. The gardens are beautiful and it is very peaceful (you would not know that you were in the middle of Kuta). The vibe was relaxed and I was pleased with the atmosphere around the swim up bar. At another hotel in Bali where we stayed previously I was unimpressed with hotel guests who were rude and obnoxious towards the staff. At the Santika the swim up bar was very pleasant due to attentive staff and respectful hotel guests. It was also a very nice start the day for the kids to have breakfast, feed the fish in the pond, walk the reflexology path and play on the playground. We also often had the pool to ourselves. We would definitely stay again and are disappointed to hear that it will be knocked down to make way for a bigger hotel. I am worried it will become like the other hotels along which are nice but mobbed with crowds of people.

Spoiled by the the behavior of the local thugs, well known and ignored by their follows.
Avoid this sea-side, inland is far more enjoyable till now.
Or remain in the resort, it is really a high quality spot.
