Poor Location but great bathroom

this standard balinese hotel is small, attractive, and well maintained. it is also a good 15 minutes from the beach. we chose to interpret this as a good thing since it assured plenty of walking 4 times a day. this counteracted the lying on a chaise at the beach with a good book and a beer. the description was mostly true and the photos were accurate. the "breakfast" however, was abysmal. two slices of crustless white cardboard toast, and a cup of gritty balinese coffee with powdered creamer. not worth eating!
Restaurant Tip:
If you head straight down to the beach and turn right, within 2 blocks you will arrive at Rosettas Reasaurant. Great inexpensive food, lovely staff and chaise recliners at water's edge which they allow you to stay on if you buy the odd item from them (not too difficult!). Coffee house beside it is also good for breakfast.

You get what you pay for - $26 gets you a clean air conditioned room.
Downside is that the room was small with no fridge.
Oddly, room had an automatic fragrance dispenser - the sort you find in office toilets.
Put a plastic bag over it as didn't like being spritzed every hour.
Staff are helpful, but need better English.
Changed to a nicer $ room at Hotel Indi 40 metres up the road after 1 night.
