Amazing place to stay. Beautiful gardens.
Friendly staff, beautiful room, relaxing surroundings.
9.3
Initially I booked a superior room but upgraded to a downstairs bungalow. Well worth the extra. The hotel is gorgeous, staff lovely. A mix of traditional and modern Bali. Close to great restaurants and shops. Internet free but a bit slow at peak times but really not an issue. I highly recommend Lumbung. Great place for all age groups.

My second stay and I'll definitely go back.
Hotel setting, has a nice pool and lovely mature gardens, GREAT friendly and attentive staff, near enough to Seminyak but away from the noise and crowds
9.3
I had a really lovely stay, my second visit and talking to other guests some had been 8-10 times!! The staff really are friendly, whether it's housekeeping, in the restaurant, or at reception. Nothing was too much trouble. It's just a few minutes in a cab to Seminyak's nightlife, restaurants, shopping and spas, the beach or yoga classes at other locations. I was a single female traveller and security is always a consideration; other guests included couples, groups of friends, families, everyone seemed to have a happy time there.

A nice hotel , but very old school Bali
Well maintained grounds, top pool, good service, traditional Bali. Best for mature clients, couples and families who want space and quiet

I stayed there during low season, monsoon. So very quiet.
Only real complaint was lighting in Lumbung villas was very poor.
Plenty of space and lovely gardens.Great beds, really comfy.

great pool and gardens but next to no service

as above, the gardens and pool area is great, but for all the staff they have in the restaurant area, you literally have to call them over to get any service by the pool. and then they never come and clear up your dirty and used glasses and plates. they could sell so much more food and beverage if they did the occasional lap around the pool to check in on people. also the rooms smelt a bit of damp and the mosquitoes were pretty bad.
and secondly, the food from the restaurant was terrible. really substandard for bali.

Beautiful grounds and adequate rooms
Great pool and beautiful grounds!

this was my second stay at lumbung. my first visit i was given a lower level room with two double beds. (i'm a solo traveler and would prefer a larger bed.) the room was a bit outdated with lots of mosquitoes. my second visit i was given a third story room with a large bed. the room was much more modern and comfortable, and well worth climbing up to the third floor.
the grounds are quite nice, and the pool is perfect. breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. overall, there are probably better values in siminyak, but i would stay here again.

Fantastic hotel with attentive staff
Staff were lovely and welcoming, nice and quiet, not far to seminyak square
9.3
This hotel was the perfect hotel for what we were looking for it was quiet, beautiful and the staff were fantastic! We had a lovely room and the pool was absolutely stunning. We also used the spa whilst staying and they were also fantastic although a bit pricey. We only ate breakfast here and they had a nice selection. The only criticism I would have is that the king bed was too hard, otherwise it was just perfect.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Jimbaran bay is absolutely stunning its a must for dinner, especially if you love seafood.
