Brilliant and friendly staff. Amazing buffet breakfast.

Overall cannot pick any faults.

We had a short stay at the Inna grand Bali Beach Hotel in Sanua but made the most of the beautiful pool area. Everything is there at your fingertips. Money exchange which was at a very reasonable rate. Breakfast was certainly a highlight catering for all nationalities. Will certainly be staying there when I go back in April.

Grounds and spa facilities good, shops also available inside hotel, within walking distance of other restaurants

Very big complex

The beach was in front of hotel: beautiful view. the garden wing and cottages are better than main building which is very large. Restaurants available away from main complex are smaller and quieter.

Travel tip : Spa facilites worth using, eat in restaurants along beach

Location, friendlyness of the staff, proximity to the beach, its Balinese'ness, included breakfasts, ease of getting transport, golf course.

rooms are a bit tired, relitively expensive food an alcohol prices (but there are nice restaurants, bars and cafes close by)

The Inna Grand Bali Beach is the Queen of Hotels in Bali. I have stayed there many times since 1972 and still find it is my preferred place to stay in Bali. Many staff members have been there for many years and always remember you when you return. It is really lovely to be met at the front entrance with "welcome home" and "its nice to see you again". The rooms are comfortable, but are show their age. Most things work, but I found that staff reacted quickly to requests to repair or replace anything that didn't work. The king size beds are comfortable and the airconditioning can be set to a good temperature. Each room had an old CRT TV with almost 40 channels. Not much in the way of sports, but several movie channels and the usual Discovery, Animal Planet and National Geographic channels. for Australian travellers there is the Australia Network Channel. All channels are free. The grounds of the hotel are manicured and lovely. It lovely to stroll through gardens to have breakfast in the morning. Lawns and plants are immaculate. Breakfast in included in many packages so that you can indulge in as much of the lovely fresh local fruits and food as you can eat. I am impressed with the cooks at the egg station who can cook up to 4 orders at the same time on 4 separate burners and do a perfect job each time. The GBB is one of the closest hotels to all of the major tourist attractions and destinations in Bali. For instance if you are going to visit the sites in the interior of Bali or Eastern Bali then it is 45 minutes closer than Nusa Dua. The nicest thing about the GBB is the staff. They remember you and look after you so well. It is is indeed a pleasure to stay there and be welcomed each time. It is also a chance to participate a little bit in Balinese life as many organisations in Bali and other parts of Indonesia use this hotel for conferences, weddings and university graduations.

Restaurant Tip : A short walk along the beach is the Sanur Beach Market. This includes a restaunt/bar, shops selling Balinese sarongs, shirts, bathers, shoes and souveniers, money changers and laundry services. The restaurant is good with reasonable prices, good food and cold beer. It is about 50% of the prices at the surrounding hotels. The money changers give a slightly better rate than the money changers and banks at the GBB. The laundry services are cheap and reliable.

Very quite open plan resort. Good for children and families. Good security from hotel guards so no hawkers. Good food and pool bar. Many pools to chose from. Good all you can eat breakfast.Close walk to local markets and golf course.

In the Garden Wings when we stayed the room was showing some signs of age but clean and daily room service was good.

We have stay here before and like the security this hotel offers. Great breakfast everyday and pools are all kept very clean. The area around the hotel has a good supply of great resturants in easy walking distance and local markets can be barted to get a good price on products. Local people are very friendly and taxi drivers are reliable. This is the best area to stay if you have children and not look for wild night life. The night life is in the Kuta Region.

Restaurant Tip : Many good resturants to choose from we went to quite a few but "Tootsie" had friendly staff and good food only 5 minutes walk from our room.

Cable TV with English channels are available. Good WC + bathroom.

Big ambitions of hotel reception staff and lot of information in hotel rooms without details you need (for example, tarrifs of international calls). Strange advices and safety boxes out of order. Hotel staff in the check-in time try to charge my credit card only for 5.000 USD (only for guarantee purposes). If you have no such ammount on your card, you must pay deposit in cash (not less than USD 50). Rooms need renovation and are quite small for price you pay for hotel. Hotel is very big and noisy. Big contrast with other Balinese hotels in Sanur.

Located on the beach. Beach is covered with corall reefs. Due to small water level beach near the hotel is suitable only for sunbathing during time when the water level goes down. Far from Sanur center, walking areas and far from local bars, shops and eateries. When you are looking at the hotel from the beach or from long distance hotel looks like bad example destroing expectations about traditional Balinese buildings (mainly 2 or 3 star buildings). Very expensive but without value for money I paid.

Shopping Tip : Special bus for free to Hardys supermarket in the center of Sanur in the evenings. Near Hardys super market you can find cheaper restaurants and places where you can eat for more reasonable prices.

Very good beach and gardens.

Lack of sunbeds.Air conditioning in Garden Rooms badly needs upgrading

A very nice hotel.Well situated on the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpfull.A pleasant walk along the beach side pathway to very nice resteraunts etc.The hotel also runs a free bus to other local shops in the town.I can highly reccomend the Garden Rooms. They are very spacious with nice views both front and back.Along from the Garden Rooms are chalets again with very well kept lawns and gardens.

Restaurant Tip : Resteraunts along the beach very good with a nice outdoor atmosphere

Huge size with lots of facilities at the quiet area

Very far from the center of Sanur

The location of the hotel is not center of Sanur so it is not so easy to move around without own transportation. However, there is a free shuttle bus between the hotel and the supermarket called Hardy's several times in a day, which is very convenient. Hotel provides lots of activities every day so that the guest can enjoy staying at the hotel. Hotel itself is not so new but now being renovated.

- Friendly staff - Rooms are good and clean - Nice pool and beach

- A little remote - Breakfast areas was quite crowed on a few days

Inna Bali is a good hotel providing value for money. The rooms and the overall facilities are good, even though a five start rating might not be justified. The Hotel has a nice pool area and good access to the beach. The hotel is a little remote to perform activities such as diving or water sport, but a couple of restaurants and a gold course are close by.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : From the Hotel diving visits can be organized

Good facilities and great for families.

Getting abit tired and in need of an upgrade

Depending on where you stay, you can have very different experiences. The main hotel is busy and somewhat sterile but the remaining parts of the hotel (bungalows and suites) are in contrast to this and are relaxed and have some character. The staff are friendly but it's a huge resort so lacks a personal touch. The rooms are big and very clean. The whole hotel could do with a little upgrade as starting to look tired around the edges

Travel tip : I wouldn't stay in the main hotel

welcome drink good aceptance from bell boy and reception sea view location of hotel to neighborhood room interior breakfast menu

no internet connection in the room queing in omelet service; too crowded in breakfast time slow elevator to get down from 8th floor

Purchasing with Agoda gave satisfaction because simple, fast, complete and reliable for check in process. Inna Grand Bali Beach gave comfortable bed, room assesories needed for a vacation. However, it is good if the hotel provides two breakfast rooms for all guests; because during my stay it was over crowded and reduced the enjoyment for breakfast In my point of view; the price of food is higher than other places. I suggest in the future Inna Grand Bali Beach will provide more options of food which quite competitive compared to the neighborhood area. The Fried rice could be changed into Complete Rice with assesories (Nasi campur). Better smaller portion with lower price - I am sure you may get more income with cheaper stuffs like: fried banana, fried tofu, instant mie or mie baso; while also provide steak, grill fish, etc for foreigners In addition; near the beach if tables are arranged - I think many people like to have dinner while listening to the wave especially when they have it in the hotel. Inna Grand bali beach has the potential - wish you all the best! let me know if you have promotion I would like to spend my holiday again in Bali someday...!

Spaciousness Different accommodation options Right by the beach Friendly and helpful staff

Not near any significant commercial area that one can walk to A vehicle is necessary to go anywhere F&B choices within hotel very limited

The Inna Grand Bali Beach is a grand old hotel which is showing some wear and tear, and some lethargy. It is a large property with lovely gardens and is well spread out especially the cottages being at the far end. However, food and beverage options within the hotel are rather limited, and there is nothing interesting outside its immediate area hence one has to take a vehicle to go some distance to other areas for shopping, restaurants or cultural activities.

Hotel Feature Tip : a golf course inside the hotel property.

Good service, very quiet, no hawkers, lots of pools

Jacuzzi needs to be fixed. My husband and I went there and found only one outlet worked so were told to use one at a time! Many other things need to be maintained.

We booked the Junior Suite for three of us. It is so roomy and the view on the beach is fantastic. The food in the beachfront hotel was very good.

Restaurant Tip : Good food in restaurant

Location, Quiet location with beautiful sunrise.

Rooms are not soo clean, light switches broken.

I stayed Inna Grand Bali for Shorinjikempo event. The location is quiet and away from city crowd and I enjoyed beautiful sun rise. I hand to change the rooms because the first one I was assigned was not so good, carpets are dirty cirners of funiture are worn out, lighting switches did not work. The second room is about the same grade but switches are OK.
