1. Ocean view rooms
2. Unique beach at low tide
3. Good quality breakfast
4. Large room size
1. Hotel smells old & looks dated.
2. Front desk staff (gave me wrong room key)
Though the hotel lifts and corridors smell old, the rooms were clean and well kept. Loved the view of the ocean from our room. When we went to the beach in the evening it was at low tide and had ponds of clear water. There were many marine creatures to observe and photograph. The beach is swept clean everyday and my 2+-year-old daughter just loved playing with the sand. The swimming pools are large and clean with friendly life guards. Overall, it's a good place for families with small to teenage children to stay at.
Travel tip : The hotels restuarants serve good pastas but if you are more adventurous just take walk up the beach and you can find many stalls and drink holes. There is also a KFC and a Dunkin Donuts a few minutes walk out of the hotel.
Sanur is quite near the Safari Park and also a day souvenirs market, Sukawati, both a few minutes drive away.

Room is spacious! worthy for the price that I got from agoda.com, beach front view.
the hotel is old, receptionist staffs are not really friendly, they will keep saying there is no available room if you want to extend your stay though you still can book via agoda.com
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Sanur beach is like a private beach not so populated with many local people

pool area, near beach, shops, manager when told of our complaints gave us 10% off.
Renovation on the floor above us. the people at the reception unaccommodating for eg. agoda did not send them our booking details and as we booked the accomadation from a hotel in Bali without a printer I gave them the booking number which they did not accept so instead of looking up our booking using their computers I had to pay for the print out on their down stairs computer.
The hotel is well managed. It had 3 big group functions while we were their which did not disturb us too much. The restaurant staff were friendly but the reception staff were stubborn. They should consider where they put you when renovations are happening, otherwise a good week.
Restaurant Tip : If you are sick of indonesion food their is a restaurant owned by an Australian called sprit which has Aussie food.

The room felt quit old and so felt more or less the whole hotel
We stayed her 5 nights and was satisfied even though this place have seen its better days. But the service was good and the rooms felt clean. They have a great pool but it is expensive to eat and drink at the hotel, but not far away you can find many restaurants. If you dont have to high expectations I would recommend this place
Restaurant Tip : Dont forget to walk the beachway up north, there restarants there felt a bit cheaper.

The Inna Grande upgraded me to a Junior Suite with an Ocean view. I come to Bali often and it was the best accommodation so far.
I asked to be picked up at 8am as I had a business appointment at 9am but they forgot and it took an hour for them to pick me up.
I was really delighted with the Inna Grande. Many people have put me off from booking there but I thought I would give it a go and to my surprise they upgraded me to a Junior Suite with an ocean room and it was the best accommodation I have ever had in Bali. I will book there again. I don't know if the normal rooms are as good but I hope so. The breakfast was really good too.
Hotel Feature Tip : Private beach for miles. Great, no hawkers.

Near to beach staff very nice.
This hotel would have been nice about 10 years ago, But now its looking old and needs money spending on it. We were in a to floor building and something was moving about in the roof space! The air con made a lot of noise, but not that cool. The door to the room was poor and unsafe. The pools need some work on them or a good clean.

Gardens and walks are just beautiful. Rooms very comfortable, balcony overlooking the pool and gardens really good.
Plumbing needs work. Toilets don't flush very well. Room service meals were not very good and of course, more expensive.
I found this hotel to be very peaceful with beautiful walks and lovely gardens. The staff are always cleaning and gardening. The room was very clean, and comfortable although the plumbing definitelly needs upgrading. Staff is very friendly, always said hello as we walked pass. Breakfast was great, a good choice of food, beautiful pastries, and plenty of variety. The reception area is very nice and "grand". I would not hesitate to stay here again. Quieter than Kuta for those who like enjoying peace and quiet.
Shopping is good, but Ubud and Kuta are better for that.
Restaurant Tip : Retaurants outside the hotel very good, cheap, and in some, tables are set up on the sand with the sound of the surf. Meals are excellent too.

Great seaview from Deluxe Seaview Tower room.
TV has many channels - multi-languages.
The hotel has two swimming pools.
The hotel is old, and some facilites need to be fixed and renovated.
Travel date and submission date: early May 2009
1) Balcony, which has a magnificient oceanview, is spacious enough to spend long hours, reading or just relaxing. However, there was no chair on the balcony at first, but two chairs were brought in just a few minutes after I called and requested a chair.
2) Sanur is stretched, and this hotel is just in front of the Perama bus stop - which is convenient for solo traveler who does not have anyone to share a taxi (and its fare or for those who doesn't have energy for a tough negotiation on taxi fares).
3)The hotel is located at the north end (not the center)of Sanur beach path.
4)The hotel is old and some facilities need to be renovated. e.g. eletric light swithces (press type) were bare and I covered the switches with paper in fear of getting a shock.
5)It is 5-10 minute walk from the gate to the hotel building entrance, and when I checked out to take a Perama bus, no shuttle service was given and I had to walk in the hot sun with heavy luggage up to the gate although they have suttle service to the far cottage type rooms.
6) Breakfast quality and variety seem to have degraded from a few years ago (I have stayed in this hotel before). If you go to the breakfast at a wrong timing, (it was about 8 AM), a big Chinese group "occupied" the whole place - It was hard to find a table to sit, the place was full of big noise, and there was a long line before the egg station, food goes quickly to make us wait for replenishment.
Restaurant Tip : Restaurants on the beach (along the beach path) in general are expensive. You can find much more reasonable food on the busy main street, and the restaurants on the main street stay open until later.

Large hotel with lobby on the 2nd floor. It has a very nice entrance area. My room was a good size- but the whole place smelled a little closed up.
Room was a little in need of a fix up. The shower dripped all night- and the room was not in the traditional Balinese style. I would not consider this hotel a 4 star hotel.
I have stayed in four different hotels in Bali and this was my least favorite. I was in Bali, solo, for business, and the hotel was fine for that- but the staff was not that friendly and not one waiter/waitress talked to me at breakfast. A lot of groups stay at this hotel- so it was pretty noisy- especially when the room doors slam automatically when someone leaves their room. The price was right- but I don't think that I would stay here again- I didn't feel the ambiance at all that other Bali hotels have.
Travel tip : This hotel is a little further north in Sanur- so the drive to Ubud is a little shorter. It is not walking distance to the main shops/restaurants of Sanur. It's not that far- but you can not walk out of your hotel and go shopping etc..

Pleasant stylish rooms. Very good location, near the sea, with wonderful sea escape.
The hotel is not new, but my room is very nice and i like staying here. It is big and comfortable, expet the equipment looks pretty old, but it works mostly. wonderful seaview with possibly sunrises. Lobby is nice having tens of wooden sculptures. Th territory is big and nice with several swimming pools.
Hardy's supermarket has traditional dances performances every night starting 7PM, ticket costs 50000 Rp, performers are good. Supermarket os abt. 2 km from the hotel. In the hotel there is wifi available at 50000 Rp per hour, the signal reaches some rooms, on 6th floor north wing it works fine. Free wifi available with order at some restaurants on beach. There also cheap internet cafes available, minimal rate I saw was 5000 Rp for halfhour.
At Hrdy's they perform Legong dance, Barong dance, Ramayana ballet, frog and kecak dances.
I visited Ubud for Legong performance, the performance was nice, but don't miss Hardy's performances, it's also very good. Yesterday I was the only listener, and they perfprmed full set of dances, thank them.
Batur mountain with volcano looks nice, the cafe there is pretty poor, I do not recommend. You can see volcano and surrounding lake.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visit Legong dance at Hardy's

Our room was clean and cool with a comfortable bed. Room service was fast and reliable.
Some maintenance issues had not been addressed. The resort is in need of some repair.
Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Swimming Pools were all clean and well maintained. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Disappointed with the lack of night-time entertainment.
Shopping Tip : All vendors asked way above the value for all goods. Always offer only what you are prepared to pay. Usually 25% of what they ask.
