Were lucky enough to get an upgrade to club room, I would say it is well worth the upgrade specila pool area with some benifits and entry to the club room although this was extra was value for money

Intercontinental Stay
Nice atmosphere by the pool and beach accessibility is great. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Overall our stay was pleasant and relaxing. I would definately go out of the hotel for massages as the price is super expensive in intercontinental. The noise was a bit annoying from room to room and our room was situated near a meeting point which made it noisy and busy. The pool area is great! Relaxing and staff are attentive with drinks, food, towels and service. Walking to the beach was so convenient and walking around the bay. The departure lounge is a nice gesture too while waiting for your flights or departure.

Fantastic stay at InterContinental Bali
1. excellent location on the beach, 2. amazing view of the sunset, 3. beautiful gardens, 4. spacious room and bathroom, 5. massage pavillions at the garden and pool

The InterContinental Bali is a fantastic resort. It is on the Jimbaran beach which is a long, sandy beach with an amazing view of the ocean. The design of the hotel is beautiful, incorporating traditional balinese elements. The swimming pools and the pool bar are really nice. The breakfast is very good and is served at two really nice locations. The best spot is the Sunset bar where you can enjoy the sunset, of course, and in the night have a cocktail with a view of the ocean. The rooms and bathroom are spacious and nicely decorated. I strongly recommend this hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
Try the seafood restaurants on the beach.

This is a first rate 5 star hotel with all the ameninties you could want. Great location right on the beach. The hotel grounds are stunning and the Club room we had was beautiful right on a lagoon. The hotel checkin-checkout was quick and easy. The staff was extremely polite and helpful with a good level of English spoken. There really isnt much you can say that is a negative with this hotel, except the food was only average and extremely expensive for the quality. We ate at the hotel twice and each time the food was nothing special with very little flavor. I would not recommend eating at the hotel but the fish markets are close and very cheap and tasty. The internet is also very expensive compared to others I have stayed in and if you dont use all your hours in a 24 hour period you lose them. This happened to me twice! Currently I am staying at a 5 star in Thailand and the wireless internet is free here! Other than that this is a spectacular place. My wife and I spent 5 nights of our honeymoon here and loved it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There are a few decent tours but you will mainly be seeing terraced rice fields and will be literally spending hours in traffic with very little time spent seeing anything worthwhile. However, there are a few terraced rice fields really worth seeing if you have never seen them before and the volcano is worth a visit. The people of Bali are amazingly friendly and welcoming as well!

This is the most amazing hotel. We loved every minute of our stay. The departure lounge provided for guests with a late flight is a wonderful and very appreciated touch, being able to stay the whole day and evening at the hotel and then have a shower and coffee and snack or use the internet or just relax in the comfort of the lounge until getting a cab to the airport was fantastic. Being right on the beach was also great having best of both worlds - swimming in the beautiful pools or the ocean or a beautiful walk along the most interesting and colourful beach. The whole experience was out of the world and we would like to thankyou very much!!See you again for sure.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We went white water-rafting and had a wonderful day - put on your "must do" list on your trip to Bali.

The hotel bar at the beach side was very romantic during the sunset.
The location was bad, had to taxi out everytime we wanted to do something. There was many seafood restaurants along the beach but you have to taxi out if you wanted to eat something other than seafood.
The room was large and clean.
The staff performance was good except for one guy from the room service that brought the food to our room. He dropped some butter on the floor and left without cleaning.

the hotel was not like expected it to be. it was not a good choice for honeymooners. all u can do is use the spa, swim, tan, and do relaxing things. but not that the bach is not clear blue. it is wavey and somewhat muddy. You do not feel taken care of while ur staying at the hotel, since its too full. we believe that the service could have been better.
the beach could also use some activities.
Restaurant Tip:
have the grilled sea food at the jumbaran garden restaurant, and some other time eat at the restaurant on the beach next to the hotel, not the one in it.

Nice Hotel - seemed to be more suited to family
This was a lovely hotel and had swarms of family groups & A good Japanese restaurant. Close to Jimbaran or Kuta if needed it also had lovely beach access

Everything was easy and the service was excellent! There was not one thing I had to follow up or worried about whilst I was there!
Nightlife Tip:
The Rock Bar at Ayana Hotel - a little pricey on drinks but an amazing sunset view
