good outlook over the paddy fields 3.5km from Ubud town such friendly helpful service..... so relaxing shuttle service good

so such a breath of fresh air the Jungjungan was good for me room was fine service attentive... and you really felt like it was local staff looking after you..... enjoyed a walk round the area at dusk.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : use the hotels driver for a day trip...... he is gr8 very on the ball... and the rate is gr8... use the shuttle........ some days we walked back to the hotel

Room was very nice, and overall hotel had a cool look to it. View over rice paddies was peaceful. great fruit plate every morning with breakfast

hotel definitely too far from town -- more than what it seemed from reviews here. unacceptable not to have even a pay option for internet when this far from town. pool still under construction. staff looked at me like i had 3 heads when i asked for an electricity adapter

Booked here based on reviews here and on trip advisor how great it was. it's a nice hotel, no doubt, but views over rice paddies are a dime a dozen in ubud -- and that is this hotel's main selling point. distance to town was a bit of a pain, tho the free shuttle was a plus. overall, for a luxury hotel, it lacked many amenities, such as internet (not even a pay option available), no pool (under construction), and a/c in the room took forever to turn on and then it didn't work great. overall, you can do better in ubud.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Baik Bike Tour through the Ubud countryside was an excellent day biking and seeing sights you don't get to see from a car. And lunch at the owner's (ketut)'s house was delicious.

All staff are really nice and helpful. Its scenary is awesome and a bit private! There are only 10 rooms in total!

After taking a cab to the hotel, i realized that this hotel is far away from Ubud Center and it is! I have read all reviews but i didn't think it is far like this. Its locations is very far away from the center and shuttle service from the hotel runs 3-4 times daily. Transportation is poor in my opinion. Also, there are less light bulbs in the room. That annoyed me as i am myopia but it looks romantic to all lovers!

I went to Bali and stayed at Junjungan Hotel for two nights. In general, my experience here was awesome. I had a great time and was really enjoyable with this hotel. The room was clean and there were enough facilities. Unfortunately, the swimming is now under construction! However, there were couple little things annoyed me but it didn't matter!
