It's really a nice hotel though it's a little far from the ubu town. Quiet, full of county smell, the terrace is facing to the farm. The hotel provides the free afternoon tea until 6 PM o'clock. I checked in arround 6, but they still provide the free afternoon tea to us. We ordered the fried noodle for our dinner, it's delicious and cheap.
If you wanna stay at ubu, it can be your choice. And you should choose your breakfast from the menu based on your taste.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you want a double bed, please note when you booking. Because they will provide the separate bed for default. It's a little regret that the spa was not available when I stayed there.

Stunning little hotel secluded among rice fields
Vast room, rice fields, friendly staff, great service, lovely breakfasts
9.3
this is a small hotel sitting in rice fields away from the noise of central ubud. bike, moped or car will get you quickly to ubud and also allow you to explore the surrounding villages. the hotel evokes a wooden treehouse, with streams running on either side, a small pool, and beautiful little gardens. by far the most awesome thing was the room, which was huge -- high ceiling, four-poster bed, lounge area, balcony, and a bath you could probably fit four people in (sadly we didn't get the chance to confirm that).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
This is a great opportunity for cycling around -- just check the bikes out before you start, as brakes and gears usually need maintenance.

Quiet hotel with well intentioned staff
good views on the rice fields, huge bathtub, well decorated room

our stay got off to a rather rocky start as it took well over an hour to check in after the staff lost our reservation and asked us if they could move us to another one of their partner hotels without any upgrade offered. After a period of heated debate, we finally got the nice room we had booked via agoda. This experience however rather tainted our stay as we could not help but describe the staff as well intentioned idiots.
The place is however very quiet at night, with beautiful rooms facing on the rice fields, and is a short drive to central Ubud

Beautiful hotel w/exceptional rice paddy views
Balcony overlooking rice paddies, hotel staff, breakfast / restaurant
9.3
This Junjungan Ubud hotel is tucked away from all the noise and traffic, situated alongide large rice paddy fields backed by a wall of 30-foot palms. What a view to wake up to and to view the setting sun. We stayed during new years eve and watched some home-grown fireworks flash behind the line of palms. Memorable. The staff was professional, EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating. The breaksfats was another strong selling point - filling and with a lot of variety. I would stay there again. Try to get a room with a balcony.

Fantastic
Amazing staff, food, rooms, view, afternoon tea.....I could go on!
9.3
What a fantastic place away from it all but as the hotel has a free driver ubud is only 10 mins away. The staff were amazing, and the food.....wonderful.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will hopefully be able to go back one day
Restaurant Tip:
A tiny local restaurant 20 min walk down the hill, overlooks the rice fields and the food was awesome!

We stayed here for 3 nights and all good comments are as same as other reviewers (free shuttle bus, free + big breakfast, free + delicous afternoon tea, polite + friendly staff, huge room + bathroom). This hotel surely is the only choice if we come to Ubud again.

Fantastic hotel
Friendly staff, delicious foods
9.7
Even though this hotel is not near the city centre (around 10-15 mins if by car), they have provided a free shuttle bus from 9am to 10pm to Ubud Palace. My good impression is all staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast and afternoon tea are free but delicious. Bedroom & bathroom are big. I love here and next time if come to Ubud again, this hotel surely is my first choice.

Very good service and nice breakfast
A variety of delicious breakfast & friendly staff

It's the third time for me to stay in Junjunkan hotel during my vocation in Bali. Since the first and second time in April 2010 & 2011, I decided to come back Junjunkan again because I never felt upset with this hotel. All staff are very nice, friendly and polite. It's my favorite hotel in Bali comparing with other 4 star hotels I had visited in the previous time due to the clean & big bedroom, its peaceful atmosphere and nice environment.
Although this hotel is located far from the main shopping area about 3.5 km but there is a shuttle bus for transferring to Ubud market and return to hotel during 9 am until 10 pm.
I do love the breakfast here because there are 12 menu for choosing and most of them are very delicious comparing with some famous restaurants in Ubud.
Also, My friends and I were very happy with spa & massage due to its privacy and reasonable cost.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It's quite close to Ubud market where you can spend the whole day for shopping arts and handmade products. Also, it takes about only 1.30-2 hours to Kintamanee and Besaki temple
