I absolutely love this boutique hotel. As soon as we checked in, the staff was super friendly and accomodating. They even upgraded one of my friend's rooms because they overlooked the booking. The rooms are clean, spacious and I adore the canopy beds. The bathtub in the superior room can fit about 5 people with room to spare! Very clean as well. The balcony opens up to a beautiful view of the rice paddies which is so peaceful. I think the idea of it with very limited rooms (10 only I think) contributed to the attention to details. Details such as complimentary afternoon tea and cake, free use of bikes (cute ones), well cooked and thought of breakfast and even the no noise policy after 10pm makes the stay so worth it. The room smells so good as well with the flowers strewn everywhere. I'm definitely coming back. Its the best hotel we stayed in our whole stay in Indonesia (we stayed in 3 hotels moving around).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you are on an extnded stay, it would be economical to hire a motorbike since the free shuttle is only until 10pm. Helpful if you are late out drinking in town.

I had a really nice stay at Junjungan. The hotel staff was very sweet and accomodating. There are only 10 rooms so everyone knows your name. The room was beautiful with a nice porch that overlooked the rice fields. The food was great as well!
Restaurant Tip:
Check out all of the great vegan/ veggie friendly restaurants- Sari Organic and Bali Buddha just to name a few.

Always looking forward to coming back in the evening and sit on the balcony. Breakfast and coffee was excellent. Staff always happy to help out with travel guide.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Do some cycling and even walking on the roads. Will get to watch daily Balinese lives in progress. Very safe.

This little hotel is so beautiful and their service is really top notch. They will ask your name upon checkin and after that all the staff, even the ones you have never met, will remember you and address you by your name..I have only experienced this at the Ritz Carltons/Four Seasons off the world, where you pay 10 times as much... Very sweet staff !. The breakfast is amazing, my favourite was the pineapple pancakes with forest berries and cream, and they serve a delicious french press balinese coffee.

Stay here, you will not regret it. You get way more than what you pay for !

I could not fault this hotel. From the front desk, dining, spa, drivers to housekeeping staff - all friendly & helpful. The rooms were large, clean & private. Lush green rice paddy fields surrounding the hote. The pool, though not large, was 'enough'. Free return shuttle to Ubud. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and stay there again if I have the chance.

As i stay in a city, this place is a great place to relax which provide a countryside feel. It happened that I have to spend a day in the hotel due to Bali Silent Day, I have managed to actually enjoy my true one day of holiday in a cosy and relax hotel. People staying in the hotel actually greet each other and acknowledge each other existence. I believed that this could have been start by the staff working there as they greet you by the surname. They remember every guests' name and the food they order. They are good and fast in housekeeping. The regret that I have was unable to test out the massage as it was closed. If the hotel equip with a gym, it will then be a perfect place for holiday.

we had a wonderful stay at junjungan. the rooms were big and clean and the staff were so helpful. they even had all the staff memorise our names and they were constantly smiling. we will probably stay here again next time. they also have a great spa room for massages.
