Very relaxing, good hospitality There are some renovation, noisy in the morning (which depending on where to stay though) The room is clean, the best thing is the shower outside of the villa. The pool is nice, they have a bar on the pool. TO get to the center of Ubud, you need to take a shuttle bus which is still ok.
Restaurant Tip : At Nuri's BBQ place, they have a good Pork Rib!

Wonderful hotel outside the town area surrounded by rice fields and palm trees.
Very friendly stuff. Excellent rooms with outdoor showers. Great pool area. Free shuttle to and from town (10 min)
Ideal place to relax
Expensive Spa and free shuttle to town not available between 17:00 to 21:00.
Wireless internet service expensive and not everywhere available We enjoyed the stay very much. The room (villas are great as they include your own small garden area with an outdoor bed. The outdoor shower are so good that you don't want to leave.
The pool area is nice and big enough for swimming and includes a pool bar.
Stuff is very freindly and the breakfast offers some changes from day to day.
Restaurant Tip : We would recommend to visit one of the restaurants in town. we tried several and all were good to very good at very attractive prices.
Same applies to the SPA. There are excellent ones in town for just a fraction of the hotel price.

Amazing service
fantastic location A nicer bar bringing people together The hotel just 5 minutes outside of Ubud was just amazing. The service was outstanding! Everyone in the hotel was running the extra mile and arranging everything. Well done.
The restaurant was nice and the food alright.
The rooms were very spacious and a great bathroom with an outside shower

This is the best hotel that I stayed in Bali. It was worth every penny. They give you flower and drink for arrival. Swimming pool is very nice. The breakfast is great, more than I expected. Everything meets the Japanese stander, which means everything is excellent. Food is fine even for the room service. There is stuttle bus for going to downtown. It is a great place for relax and for vacation!!!

Location, staff, pool with swim-up bar, private pools The resort is very large and secluded, situated in amongst the rice paddies. The pool and other facilities were very well maintained. and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The regular buses into town are reliable and the food was good. We were also upgraded to a villa when we arrived!
Some work going on but it didn't really bother us too much.
Shopping Tip : The shops on the Monkey Forest Road are very touristy but the parallel road on the other side of the market has some much quieter feeling places

Very calm and relax in the hotel I found the room does not have a clean feeling due to the rustic look and design. There is a very nice but pricey restaurant right next to the hotel. The close by spa has a spectacular view in front of it. It is little bit easy to get lost inside the hotel and locate a room is not as easy as any modern hotel. The front desk could improve with more smile.

The amazing forest location, warm and special welcome, friendly staff, and good dining & drinking. It's really an amazing hotel which is located in the tropical forest. Very private atmosphere, for people who like quiet and and a peaceful vacation. It's a good choice. You even could enjoy the swimming pool by yourself.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel provides some activities, we tried the bird watching and rent a bike. It was a good experience.
