Where can I start about my stay. It was so amazing I was sad to leave. The villa is breathtaking, the pool is a generous size, the staff are so friendly and everything was just perfect.
The villa is spacious and very private, which is essential and sometimes hard to find in a villa. However, with this privacy came a slight lack of sun. When we spoke to the front desk and asked if there was another villa with more sun, they are so happy to assist us, and we moved to Villa 14 which was unbelievable, complete with sunlight.
The staff are like a friendly family. One of the best aspects about the villa was how personal it was. All staff members knew us, knew what villa we were staying in, and some even knew our names.
The villa was situated in a perfect location. Shops are walking distance, to both Legian and Seminyak. Just up the road away from the main strip is a supermarket called Bali Deli, which is great to top up your fridge. If you choose to go further towards Seminyak Square or to restaurants further away, there is an on demand driver who is more than happy to take you. To make it better, when you finish your meal, you have the restaurant ring the hotel again, and they will come and pick you up when suits. The service was a great help and such a convenience.
All in all, it was one of the best stays of my life. This is the ONLY place I will stay at in Seminyak every time I re-visit Bali.

This was our first visit to Bali and overall Kanishka Villas exceeded our expectations. The unit was very spacious and well maintained. The staff went out of their way to assist us and service was always accompanied with a smile. Room service was prompt. The location is terrific as shops, restaurants and a wonderful supermarket/deli are all a short walk away. My wife & I really loved the place. We had a wonderful second honeymoon.

On first impressions, the villa was lovely with a lap pool and open living areas and bathroom and outdoor shower. The only airconditioned room is the bedroom (which was a bit dark). Although the living areas are large and comfortable, we tended not to linger due to mosquitoes and the heat (something which i'm sure most villas would have the same problem with, so no fault of the staff at the villas). However, we found that when our room was cleaned, they tended to forget to replace tissue paper and we had to constantly call reception for it (only a minor issue). The breakfasts were nice and staff were always wonderful and rapid with their response. Note that airport transfers are not included in the hotel price. Agoda advertises that they organise transfers, but it is actually an extra 145,000 rupiah or something like that. I had actually told Agoda we didn't need transfers, but they hadn't communicated it to the hotel, so they met us at the airport anyway. However, it was nice being met, as it's quite frantic when you arrive. There are complimentary shuttle transfers between 12 -7 p.m., which is nice but would be great if they could extend the times. I would probably look for another place in the future with larger airconditioned rooms which although don't have pools, are more livable (like Komaneka Bisma)in the future. It's good though if you're very much into privacy and using the pool often and don't mind creepy crawlies or heat that much.
Shopping Tip:
Bintang supermarket sells mortar and pestles if you don't like bargaining at markets.

The plae is nice although a little overvalued. But then again, Bali has such a wide range of places that i better come back to this one to avoid disappointment.

We had the most amazing stay in the Kanishka Villas! Being in the heart of Seminayk, it's a great central, location. With Bali deli and Bintang markets near buy you can stock up the ample sized kitchen with the goodies you need. Also, the room service and dining facilities were great, with the ever happy staff conveniently delivering your meals to your 'in house' dining room. The villas are very private and perfect for a happy couple or newlyweds. As the villas have an open roof, you can expect some mosquitos, but the Kanishka staff light mozzie coils and also fog the drains to help reduce the numbers. some other points of interest, the king size pillow top bed is amazing, as is the walk in shower, and the pool facilities are great. Overall I would easily recommend Kanshika, and would be happy to return myself.

Because our last night in Bali the Gending Kedis villas were fully booked, we moved for one night to Kanishka villas. The bell boy proudly told us that Kanishka is newer so better. Unfortunately we ended up not sharing his point of view. It was obvious that the people who normally stay at Kanishka are not particularly nice to its furniture. Meaning that after only 1.5 years damage is starting to show to its the veneer. Not disturbingly just yet, only not something you'd expect in a 5 star villa. The privacy is restricted to the visual as you can hear your neighbors and their tv (and they ours) left and right even though they're not being very loud. We had hoped to find a different breakfast after this being the only downside to Gending Kedis but unfortunately it was exactly the same. We did like the location and the bed was very very nice and the service was great (allowing us to do a late check-out). All in all a place we might stay again but definitely not for the same amount of money.

Great location in Seminyak, close to some of the great restaurants and bars in the area. Staff at Kanishka were attentive and promptly solved any issues. Only downside being an open villa were the mozzies... mozzie coils were brought in everyday but just two were not enough, so take some extra and your aeroguard! Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was exceptional and helpful. We found the location to be very good for daily excursions to other parts of the island. The rooms were quiet and we didn't have issues of hearing traffic. There are many shops and restaraunts within walking distance and the complimentary shuttle makes it easy to get you to restaraunts and the beach in Seminyak. The pool tops things off but the water can be pretty cold which surprised us being in the tropics. Since the living area is open you should be prepared to see a salamander or gecko and don't leave food out on the counters. They provided plenty of bottled water so that was great.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walking within Seminyak you should wear comfortable shoes as the sidewalks are not up to western standards. You can be walking and all of a sudden there are holes in the sidewalk to the sewer below (it's only about a 12 inch drop).
