The best hotel ever

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. From the first minute the staff did an incredible job to make our stay one of the best holidays ever.
The hotel is located in walking distance to many restaurants and pubs but also the food at the hotel is excellent.
The hotel organized day-tours with a driver. Also here the driver was outstanding providing detailled information and taking us to locations that are not so well-known but beautiful.
All together a perfect holiday

We had a fantastic stay! Both service and facilities are truly 5star. The staff was very professional and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located for exploring Ubud and offers daily activities in cooperation with the other Komeneka hotels. Also, it is possible to use the facilities of all hotels of the Komeneka family! Shuttle is provided for free. On the last morning we had to leave at 7am and Komeneka staff arranged an early breakfast for us in our room. Much appreciated!

it was our second stay here, they gave us a welcome back massage and a gift upon departure which was appreciated. The hotel really is first class service. the reception were most helpful in getting us a letter we needed for an insurance claim, without them there is no way we would have got it due to the language barrier. Love this hotel and will be back.

we absolutely loved our stay at the komeneka rasa sayang. from the minute we arrived the service was so personal and the rooms are just beautiful. they are really large and have every comfort,you could want, to big comfortable beds, massive bathroom with large bath and separate shower to sofa and flat screen tv with in house entertainment (movies,music). the pool area is great and we really enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea and the wonderful breakfast each morning. the location is perfect for access to shopping, cafes etc. i would definitely book this hotel again and would highly recommend to all of our friends.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Make sure you go to the spa while staying there, the spa is a wonderful experience.

The most standing out is the hotel staff where they try to personalize their service from the welcome, the helpful planning & information about the surrounding attractions & food.
Hotel's feature is not very much, i.e. small pool at the very back of the hotel but they try to make interesting event like learn how to carve, etc.
Room layout is really nice and quite spacious, complete with the Apple TV (comes with very small remote controller) and cable channels too off course.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be careful with the monkeys in case visiting the Monkey Forest which is nearby, these little creatures will snatch anything small (sun glasses, wallet, etc) like they were training. They will go crazy when you show up with bananas.
For the dances, there are many around Ubud, make sure you book ahead to get good seats, usually comes with dinner package and hotel pickup.

Simply the best!
Wonderful staff. Everyone at the hotel from reception to the gardeners have clearly been heavily indoctrinated in customer service. They were all helpful and nothing was too much for them. Complimentary tea on the pool deck in the afternoon is a must. Rooms are spacious and well appointed and the bathrooms are a delight. We had a ground floor room with no view but the most relaxing of gardens. The hotel and grounds are well maintained and the hotel is central for great shopping and other locations and events.

This hotel and its staff probably spoilt the rest of our holiday as we were constantly comparing other resorts to Komaneka. We chose the hotel based on comments from other travellers and we can only say that the ratings are very accurate. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special and any need was quickly attended to.
We made use of the spa and were not disappointed by either the therapists or the facilities and treatment. We chose the massage with milk bath and it was the ideal way to detox from city living and get into the holiday mood.
The shuttle service is excellent and you simply have to ask and they deliver! One group from one of the other Komaneka resorts even came in to reception while we were there and were shuttled to their resort without any objections.
Road conditions are bad and the sidewalks are particularly dangerous at night as many storm drain covers are missing or damaged.
Get yourself a scooter. Ubud is far bigger than I imagined and there is so much to see and do. The dance at the palace is well worth a visit but do read the accompanying document otherwise it will all be jibberish. We also did white water rafting which was great fun and nothing too dangerous.

The room was much bigger than what i expected considering the price range. Breakfast was fantastic, massage was good, ginger chews at the lobby were extremely tasty! Turndown each evening, afternoon tea each evening, also a 2 small gift bags with massage oil, soap and bath salts to bring home. Fantastic service.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The reception staff can arrange an airport transfer with a "trusted driver" that is half the price using the hotel car.

A pleasant boutique resort with excellent services

The very first moment entering the hotel was attended by warm welcome with fresh towel and refreshing juices. The hotel is located near to Monkey Forest St along many small and unique shops including popular eating places like Ibu Oka (famous for babi guling), Cafe Wayan (for local good food) and also spa and massages. It is a 33-room boutique hotel, hence the ambience speaks the truth and we were so relax even walking along the common walk way in the hotel leading to our room. The patio inside the room facing green plantation was lovely especially eating breakfast listening to toad singing after raining. It was a great relaxation for us and also thanks to the excellent services provided by the hotel staff!
