Great staff, uncomfy beds, stained towels

The staff were wonderful and very quick helping with any request. The beds were hard and the pillows low, so not very comfortable. The shower was only lukewarm and the towels were stained. However, the location is great and the grounds were immaculate.

Right on the beach.

Walls are a little thin but the stay was lovely. On our last nights stay we could hear the guest next door chatting at 4 am . Not good. Food was lovely, staff a little lazy which surprised me for Bali. Gardeners seem busy all the time which explains why the gardens are so beautiful.

It was my second time in La Taverna, and equally enjoyed staying there both times. Appreciated clean and spacious room and gardens, as well as restaurant and pool. Friendly staff, tastefully decorated restaurant/bar and pool area. Clean beach with a great service. Good variaty of food to chose from at the restaurant and bar menu. Hotel is perfectly located by the beach, close from the airport, close to shops and money exchange. Will highly recommend it to others.

The hotel is ideally located with easy beachfront access as well as local shopping. It is a beachfront hotel with charming rooms and excellent service. We returned to the hotel for the second time in a few years and enjoyed it even more.

these rooms were larger than i expected. the only tv is in living area and has day bed there to use while watching tv. the bathroom has rock shower bed. the room was mostly dark. the big down side is the internet. extremely sketchy in room-mostly non existent. wi fi they say they have in public area, rarely worked for me. the beach is wonderful with lots of chairs that are spaced far apart for privacy. even though tide goes out in the afternoon, you can still go in the water. the one time we ate here, it was very good and italian.

Located centrally on the beach, you can easily explore the areas. Our room was upgraded and lovely, with an outside patio that was charming. Fun and unique furniture! The pool was delightfully warm and more fun than the shallow water of the beach. It was fun to watch the shrimpers on the beach at night using flashlights!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The massages on the beach are great and a fraction of the price through the hotel.
