The beach is great and teh rooms are cute!

We had a fun time at hotel--- the pool was deep and the beaches were sandy. Lots of market shopping and massage on beach. Locals were friendly too.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in la taverna bali. it was secluded from the busy hustle and bustle outside and provided a haven of tranquility. whatever needed to be done, was done immediately. requests were honored without fail.
i would highly recommend this hotel to those who seek a quiet and comfortable environment, and still have access to all the other activities going on outside the hotel grounds.

Nice hotel for a 3 star but rooms very dark. Had to request another lamp as no overhead lights. Wasn't keen on the a la carte breakfast, much prefer buffet style. Very central to Sanur.
Restaurant Tip:
Wicked Parrot on main street. Nice food

a very nice hotel located right on the beach. the staff were all very friendly. it is on one of the main streets in sanur with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

The rooms are quiet good. There are a few decent restaurants close by. You can find a lot of authorized Money Changers near the hotel and its a decent place for shopping. The atmosphere is quiet and decent and its a perfect place for a family to spend a vacation.

La Taverna was an excellent place to stay. The beach is great for kids as there is lots of shallow water. The markets and restaurants are all around you. Close to ATMs, tradional market and there is a convenience store right next door. It's not a hotel full of mod cons, but we liked the older style and that there was no TV or Wi-fi in the room (not so tempting for the teenager). There was TV (60 channels) and Wi-fi in a very comfortable large hut in the centre of the hotel. We were even able to watch Australian AFL preliminary finals there instead of finding a sports bar. All in all, we would definitely stay there again - best location in Sanur.
Shopping Tip:
Ladies near the beach can be quite aggressive - do your shopping in the first market you come to on the left of the hotel or on the street side of the hotel where they are not nearly so pushy.

hotel avec beaucoup de charme - service de qualite
les chambres sont un peu sombres mais le cadre et la decoration sont jolis, le meilleur service durant notre sejour
nous avions reserve 2 chambres deluxe, dommage qu'a notre arrivee on nous avait reserve une chambre familiale sans aucun charme et de qualite tres en dessous de la categorie deluxe. suite a notre refus, nous avons eu la chance d'avoir ete surclasse dans une junior suite + 1 deluxe dont la qualite etait largement au dessus
Travel tip:
hotel tres bien situe pour une fin de sejour avant un depart pour l4aeroport
baignade possible uniquement a maree haute
